The two transfers were the 7th and 8th oline starters next year. They played because of injuries and would have been a backup next year. ND has a of young OL talent. Either they transfer to start or wait on the bench for a starter to get injured
Ticket availability wasn’t the issue. Tix were cheap and easy to get. Flights were $800+ on Sunday of last week. Driving is 14 hours + one way. The cost of travel kept many Texas fans (including me) from the game
I haven’t seen this pulled out yet, but if Kirby and schulman are saban acolytes, doesn’t sark know how to attack their defense better than just about any other? In both bama games, Texas had very little trouble moving the ball against sabans defense. I also think that georgias ego in defense will work against them, they will play much more straight up coverage as opposed to OK trying to disguise. Texas by 10
I entered in through Gate B and it was an absolute shit show. Between only two ticket scanners, idiots standing at the entrance waiting for friends and a pallet of water stuck in the middle of the crowd it was a nightmare. I can never envision this game elsewhere; hoping the renovations make next year better
Well being from Texas, we should all know that the Golden Triangle is not just a place in SE Asia for Heroin; it arguably produces the best football players per capita in the entire world. So yeah, PAT isn't Houston
I just realized that when I renewed my Season tix over the phone because their website was shit, that they didn't ask me about OU Tix. I called in just now and they said that OU Tix won't be happening for another couple of months and I will get an email. This is the first time I can remember that I didn't have a chance to opt in when I renewed. Did they screw me over by not offering it when I renewed? For those of you who were able to renew online were you able to opt into TxOU?
If Texas makes the finals, today's prices will look like a great deal. Simple supply and demand will drive prices up; most season ticket holders for the Texans are likely Horns fans or giving them to horns friends. Worst case scenario, Bama vs Washington...Bama fans have championship game fatigue. Best case scenario, Horns vs Mich.
One factor working in the 'draw' favor of LHF points is how many big money guys want to go into a draw for tix? They seem like club/suite dudes. I'm currently 7K and likely out of luck even for the Sugar bowl, but who knows
The Alabama lower level RSVP is $594 per ticket, so it's a $1200 bet. It's a $600 bet for upper deck. I just pulled the trigger as I had a connect to save some money and paid 1440 apiece all in for upper deck; if Texas doesn't go I hope I can make my money back at least or take a smaller hit. If it's Bama and Washington I could take a bath
