Glad you started this. I've been experimenting with some of the instant pot recipes from their book and online. I have also found several of the Gamechangers recipes to be solid. https://gamechangersmovie.com/recipes/mexican-lentil-soup/

This one is good but way under seasoned. I doubled the balsamic vinegar and added some salt to the veggies as they were being sautéed. https://recipes.instantpot.com/recipe/ratatouille-with-black-olives-and-quinoa/
Will be interesting to see where they price those.
I may just be on a green kick right now, but the Slash Anaconda Burst Les Paul looks nice. I usually hate the artist inspired guitars/bass, but this one looks good. Thankfully the price puts it beyond my interest level. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/LPSS00DANH--gibson-slash-les-paul-standard-anaconda-burst-limited-edition
This arrived today. G&L’s new short scale bass. Had been on the fence, but I hear a price increase is coming during NAMM this week. Just pulled it out of the box, but initial impressions are favorable.
I think the Ridgeline is a really good truck. I don’t tow and the bed would easily handle any weekend chores I tackle with a better ride and better gas mileage. However, this is my other vehicle. I’ve had such a good experience, I honestly didn’t consider anything else but Toyota 4x4 with a MT.
Yeah, I have tried to get some pics that highlight the blue hands/markers. Zero success. I was torn between this watch and a Glashutte Original Sport Evo about 10 years ago. Went with the GO and while I really like it, I have always had this one in the back of my mind. Can't say that I would be willing to pay current new prices for it, but I am glad the situation developed for me to pull off this trade.
The black face/bezel will decrease the visual presence. Coming from a 36, I see where it is a huge jump, but I think you will be surprised how quickly you will adjust to the 43 unless you have tiny wrists.
That is quite the score. The style is a bit over the top, but the price sounds like it was right. Would look good on a black NATO.
Speaking of straps, I am in the process of getting that IWC I mentioned above. I started looking at replacing the current strap (depending on condition). Apparently California is banning Alligator amongst other exotic hide sales starting January 1, 2020. Louisiana is suing, but if it goes through, there are a lot of watch manufacturers that will be shifting to cow for the US market going forward.
Other than the "live competition" with other riders if you want that to motivate you, the main advantage of the Peloton bike is the trainers will call out resistance or output ranges to shoot for during the workout. Honesty, you can get a gym quality spin bike and use the iPad app subscription for lower price point if you want to guess a bit on output numbers.
The cheapest way is to wait out the Christmas/New Years resolution people and pick up their barely used Peloton for cheap on CL/FB Marketplace.
I have an offer to trade my Sea-Dweller 16600 plus a little cash on my end for a used but in great condition IWC Portuguese Auto 7 day like The Royal We posted above. They also have an IWC Big Pilot there. The SD sit in the safe. If I want to wear a Rolex, I always pull out the Pepsi GMT. I have always lusted after that IWC and have too many sports watches but no real dressier watch. Am I nuts?
As an aside, just looked at the old receipt in the box for the SD. I paid $3995 in 2004. These things got expensive over the past 15 years..
I have one and really like it. It is a great workout and a good complement to other stuff I do. The instructors include fitness bunnies to former/current TdF riders. There is a supportive online community if that is your thing (I could care less). You can make it competitive with the output leaderboard or with your previous personal best. I am pretty much toasted after a 45-60 min class. It is expensive, but we all waste money on hobbies and interests. There are some pretty good yoga classes that you can stream off the bike as well.
Update, we just worked to get them "close" all around. Not trying to go full OCD with the drum tuner at each location. Less tail chasing and a lot more even across the entire drum head. Sounds significantly better than before.
