This is who Steve Sarkisian is.
I wonder how much of Sark’s alleged spiral started after he brought Nansen on board

Herman teams consistently looked stiff and uptight. He even commented multiple times after loses how the team just “wanted it too much” or something like that. He even had that bizarre Of Mice and Men tangent where he compared the team to Lennie crushing a rabbit

Based on what? Kingsbury was fired from Tech after 3 straight losing seasons and a sub-.500 overall record. He then subsequently interviewed with both the Jets and Cardinals and ultimately parlayed getting fired into an NFL head coaching job. This is also the same league that gave Adam Gase multiple head coaching opportunities. Never underestimate the hubris and stupidity of NFL owners.

The Athletic Scoops Sark interested in NFL Jobs
Yeah I mean even Sark’s postgame PC answer wasn’t a denial. He didn’t say the reports weren’t true. He just said he was upset the news leaked, basically.

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
Niblett packages are too predictable. 95% of the time he goes in the ball goes to him

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?
I heard Gerry say on one of the shows earlier in the week that he’d heard rumblings of a potential move there. I do wonder with Penn State (and inevitably Florida) being open too if that could push Michigan to make a move to prevent losing out on good candidates

Things not going well for James Franklin [FIRED]
Wouldn’t be surprised at all if Elko went to Penn State and A&M just promotes Klein to HC

Texas vs. ou - 2:30pm on ABC
Man, something about the punt return was so cathartic. Gotta be up there with the Golden TD against ASU, the 4th and goal stop against A&M, and the Bond TD against Bama as one of my favorite plays of the Sark era. Just felt like that “it” moment with us finally getting over that hump this season after the underwhelming start

Hard to incentivize ranchers to hold back heifers that may not produce for you for at least a year after weaning. Especially when you can get good money selling them right now. Not to mention there’s always an inherent risk of calving issues when keeping heifers. The market is just absolutely insane right now. A month or so ago, there were some bred heifers at the Giddings Livestock Auction that sold for around $5,000/head, I believe. There’s a lot of folks who’ve had to sell down a lot after the last few summers, and it’s not a good market to buy back in. There’s a lot of demand here with the rain we’ve had this spring and summer. Way more grass than we can feed right now with the smaller herds.- I Don't Want To Make This Poll, But its unfortunately necessary.
I just don’t see him pulling Arch. Sark has shown a tendency to stubbornly let the QBs flail. He did it with Card @Arkansas in ‘21 and with Quinn in ‘22 @Oklahoma State. Granted those were both against P4 teams on the road, not at home against a CUSA team- I have zero concerns going forward [OP is a Fucking Liar]

Tessitore: “This has felt much more like a Texas-style offense today” offense proceeds to go 3-and-out- Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
A lot of room for improvement here but he definitely showed flashes. The throw to Endries to start out the final drive was on point. The out route to Livingstone was a pretty good throw as well. Hopefully as he gets more experience, the game will slow down for him. I keep thinking back to the development arc Sam had in 2018. He looked rough against Maryland and to a lesser extent Tulsa, then things really started to click for him.- Pros & Cons 8/30
Littleton was definitely the standout to me. A true freshman in his first ever college action straight up won battles against the best WR in college football who many believe is a generational talent- We need to talk about David Portnoy
He wants people to discuss him. That’s part of his whole schtick. We don’t need to talk about him. He can fuck right off- Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
While he didn’t self sack like Ewers did, his footwork looked off at times. A couple of times he just threw off his back foot and tried to strong arm it. I’d like to think he’ll correct that with more game experience. On one hand, I definitely expected some struggles with his first road start being on the road in one of the toughest environments in the sport against the defending national champs, but I was still surprised how poor his footwork looked at times and some off his misses were just plain bad. I do wish Sark would’ve mixed in more quick-hitter screens. We had a solid one to Wingo in the 2nd quarter, then went back to long-developing pass plays. To me, it seemed like Sark came in with a very conservative gameplan and thought we just could beat them in a street fight like Michigan did last year.- Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
Well, at least we won’t have to play a defense that good again until Georgia. If Arch looks this bad when we go to The Swamp, we’ve got a serious problem- #1 Texas vs. #3 Ohio State - 11am on Fox

Being unable to audible or hot route receivers on the road is tough, too. If you call a pass play and don’t like the coverage you get, you’re SOL. I pretty much just stick to basic run plays or conservative RPOs to try and build enough momentum to take the crowd out of the game. At least this year you can see the receiver icons more clearly on the play art when selecting a play. I don’t recall that being the case in CFB 25.- Transfer Cycle 2024-2025 - Stop Being Poor
Sark needs to find someone to play the role of a traditional fullback in goalline sets that’s not just a defensive lineman. I think Baxter and Gibson with another year in the S&C program can be good short yardage backs, but they need someone in front of them to help clear the way. - U.S. Beef Industry in absolute crisis
