  1. Recruiting has not been their problem, friend.
  2. Well that hasn't kept them from getting highly rate recruits. Granted winning and keeping them is another thing.
  3. I think the city is way down on the list of why recruits commit to teams. College towns are probably more fun to a lot of recruits than big cities. I think the two most overrated things about recruiting are city and coaches influence on where the recruit signs. I'm not saying that those factors don't come into play for some recruiting battles, I'm just saying that they are way down on the list of where most recruit ultimately commits.
  4. You're right. I've tried that before.
  5. There are going to be some surprised Cali NIL recipients when the tax man comes calling also.
  6. I don't watch a lot of hudl, but I did watch his and he is a dog.
  7. Not sure I agree with this. TCU, KSU and that type of program have made a living developing players.
  8. Unofficially visit? WTF's he going to do, sneak around and look at the facilities.
  9. I do. Really curious to see how he stacks up.
  10. Borger?
  11. I guess our town was so poor everyone had knockoffs, I don't remember the term bobos.
  12. Glad I checked out the transfer thread this morning.
  13. Check back in 25 years and see if you say the same thing.
  14. I saw Shead play his Sr. year, he was good, but probably should have played defense in college. It was obvious that the best player on Cayuga's team that year was Malcolm Kennedy. He went to aggy, was productive and I think made it to the NFL? Stats will get in the way of good evaluation at times.
  15. Do all scholarship players at a school like Texas get some form of NIL?
  16. I got admitted to a school in Arkansas with a 0.00 GPA. It just happened to be the school Charlie Strong went to. Not something I'm particularly proud of but I was able to knock out a bunch of hours in a short amount of time before I moved back to Texas.
  17. That for sure wasn't a bad deal.
  18. T They're working on it. I did a quick google and from 1920-1947 there was only one State Champion, small schools only had regional championships. I think they give 13 or 14 now counting 6 man.
  19. I'm wondering about the quality if he quit wearing it after just 3.
  20. The football field has room for expansion.
  21. I'm not sure about your mood, but pretty sure you're not in shape.
  22. Shit this thread was better before we hired a coach.
  23. He was always rock solid to the Texans.
