CEO of UHG Shot and Killed in NYC - WTF is wrong with you New York
It was probably this photo: And again, the crazy brows probably did him in. Good thing he didn't go to Texas, where he could've hidden among the 50% of people with huge fucking eyebrows, I've been told.

Maybe he wanted a Happy Meal and they required him to be under a certain age? Or, more likely, NY Post completely made that up, like they tend to do.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
The people pinning this on Auburn are just looking at the tied score and figuring we just needed one of the missed FGs to go our way to win. But 1) not giving him credit for scoring 13 of our 19 points, and 2) not giving equal weight to the fact that Quinn and the offense had the opportunity to score 49 points when they got within the UGA 30, and had to kick the field goal or turned the ball over all of those times. We didn't even sniff the end zone. So if Auburn went 4 for 6 (really 5 for 6 since one make was wiped away by a dumb penalty), then Quinn and company were 0 for 7 on TDs within the UGA 30. So it was everybody's fault, not just Auburn's for missing 2 of 6 FGs. At some point, some blame has to fall on the guy who touches the football every snap and makes the decisions on where and when to distribute it. We get a TD just one of those times instead of settling for a field goal and the conversation is completely different. We're going to have to figure out our red zone woes against decent defenses before the CFP because it seems like the only way we can score a TD is if it's a run after catch over 30 yards or we are able to run the ball.

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
It's nice seeing a QB who doesn't get spooked by pressure, stands in and throws an accurate ball knowing he's about to get drilled. Also saw a few times where he eluded heavy pressure but kept scanning for receivers while doing so, which is pretty rare for a QB in his first year of meaningful snaps. No need to throw the offensive line under the bus or one of 80 other excuses...he just makes shit happen.

2024 Playoffs Round 1: Clemson at Texas
And 3 total points in our last four 3rd quarters. Is there a way to bet on how many points we'll score in the third quarter against Clemson? If so, is it an over/under of 1?

I too, delivered "balls into tight windows" back in my day.

Would have been an even cooler story if we could just punch it into the end zone once in 6 attempts near the red zone, like any other offense with a ton of weapons should be able to do. If we did that, this wouldn't even be a discussion. And the 42-yarder was near the right hash, right after (again), he had to re-kick. That's not a gimme in college, even in a domed stadium. How do you expect to get through the CFP if you can't score one fucking TD in six attempts within the 27 yard line (seven attempts if you count OT)?

He hit the first one, which he then had to redo because our dumb guys jumped. That's going to get into the head of most kickers, especially after he barely kept it in and had to go back another 5 yards. Also, he constantly had to kick it from the right or left hash, instead of being lined up right in the center. Cool story, but Auburn hit 4 FGs. He missed his second FG when it was 10-6. He hit the FG to tie it, and he hit his attempt in OT. You can scapegoat Auburn all you want, but if the offense did a single thing to help, Auburn's tying FG could've been the game winner or insurance points. In fact, if the offense just didn't hurt his chances by taking a 5 yard penalty or 6 yard sack right before his misses, he probably hits at least one of them. In fact, he did hit one of them, only for us to wipe it off with the penalty.

Bert!
The problem there is that Sark really didn't have any good options other than to kick the FG because penalties or sacks put us way behind the chains. The yards to go on 4th down were: 12, 9, 10, 16, 15, 11. It would be a dumb decision to go for it on any of those.

That kicker also missed a 44 yarder and went 2 for 3, which was the same exact percentage as the guy who everyone is bitching about. Yeah, the two misses suck, but what sucks more is we made it to Georgia's 23, 22, 19, 27, 14 and 14 yard line, and we had to attempt the field goal every time, due to taking sacks, getting penalties or missing passes. Get a TD any of those six times and we win the game. Pressuring your kicker to hit 6 FGs, 4 of which were over 40 yards, because you can't accomplish jack shit in the red zone is the main issue.

The problem is that we made the UGA defense look better than it is. They're the best defense we played, but it's nowhere near the level they've had in years' past. They gave up 41 to Bama, 31 to MSST, 28 to Ole Miss, 21 to UMASS, and 27 to GT (before OT)...and what do we do? Score a lowly 15 in the first game and 16 in the second (before OT). So any of the teams could give us issues but we obviously want to play teams with a smaller DL we can just push around and lean on our running game, because getting to the opponent's 27 yard line or better 6 times and having to attempt a field goal all 6 times isn't going to cut it.- 2024 SEC Championship Game: Texas vs. Georgia - 3pm on ABC
Carted off UGA punter can probably still kick injured for more yards than Kern.- 2024 SEC Championship Game: Texas vs. Georgia - 3pm on ABC
Well, he missed from 51, which is not a gimme for any college kicker and something like 42. He hit 4 of them. The main problem is that we had to attempt 6 FGs when we were at or near the red zone and couldn't score a single TD on any of those drives. Our only TD came on a 5 yard pass with 36 YAC.- Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
I was okay with Quinn over Arch because Arch would theoretically be more prone to costly turnovers and taking big sacks (pun kind of intended). The strength of Quinn's game was he protected the football, almost to the point where he was too careful at times. That was all good, but the past two weeks, he's turned it over 4 times and taken a bunch of sacks, making it tough to convert first downs and making for longer field goal attempts. You can try blaming away the turnovers on everyone besides Quinn, but turnovers are turnovers and you could argue it could've been worse. I'm pretty sure Arch could've matched or exceeded Quinn's stat line, with the added dimension of the defense having to account for a running QB. And I'm absolutely sure Arch could have hit the 5 yard pass that Moore turned into 41 yards, and our only TD the entire game.- Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
Quinn threw it 10 more times than King. King's average was higher. Plus 110 yards rushing vs. -27. Not to mention 0 INTs versus 2.- Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
Haynes Fucking King went 26/36 for 303 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs, and 110 rushing yards against UGA, with lesser talent all around him. Who would prefer Quinn over Haynes Fucking King, and if so, why is your name Thatguy?- Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
243 rushing yards against aggy last week and we still only scored...checks notes...17 points. And 7 of those were from Arch.- 2024 SEC Championship Game: Texas vs. Georgia - 3pm on ABC
Didn't help that we had a penalty and took a sack before both misses. 51-yarders aren't automatic.- 2024 SEC Championship Game: Texas vs. Georgia - 3pm on ABC
We've scored 3 total points in the third quarter of our last 4 games. 3 points. - FINAL 2024 CFB polls/rankings - Texas #3/ #4 /#3 (CFP/AP/Coaches)
