Thankfully I have a wife that loves to sleep in cold rooms. Two window cross breeze, 6" goose down winter comforter, and a knee cap peeking out, all's good. Was 48 degrees in the bedroom when I woke. Virginia City is a touristic old western town down the hill in Nevada, and you can float the Truckee River....can't call it whitewater rafting. Truckee has good fly fishing. Patagonia outlet down the hill in Sparks, next to Reno...I always stop in when I'm passing through, never leave empty handed.
