No funeral…
A quick perusal of the recent reviews in Google Maps shoes that the main pyramids are still closed for climbing.
I don’t see the ban ever changing. A thousand people going up a pyramid every day can’t be good for it.
I’ll second the recommendation of Scholz Garten. It’s always mispronounced as “Schlotz’s”. Known as the oldest bar in Texas, it’s been a game day tradition for ages. The food options are heavily German, but the establishment was founded by German immigrants. Germany produced the 3rd highest immigrant group in Texas behind Anglos and Mexicans.
@Hollywood
if you’re going to the pyramids, there are a couple of cool restaurants in the caves that would be entertaining for the family. Quite busy on Sundays. But it’s a haul from where you are staying.
Finding a landing spot in the media to trigger the buyout might be a bit of a problem for Bill. I don’t see a network that broadcasts college games hiring a guy who made his reputation in the NFL and had only one (or less) season at the NCAA level. And that one season was a disaster.
Finding work at a network broadcasting NFL games might be problematic as well. He has publicly declared war on the Patriots and had probably pissed off others in the NFL world. Top it off with a thin-skinned, laconic personality; I wouldn’t think he’d be highly sought after for a gig.
