Went to my first Rangers game in 1976. I have loved a lot of teams over the years win or lose, but this group of guys are moving up the list quick. Just a very likable group of gritty professionals. Wore my 1970’s Sundberg jersey on the first night of the homestand for good luck (you’re welcome). Man, this has been a fun season so far.
Team looked lifeless last night. Hope it was just coming down off that emotional game in Houston. Injury bug has certainly hit us. Still think they need to make a couple of moves with maybe more of an eye towards next year and not just rentals.
Championships
NFL - Dallas 5 Houston 0
NHL - Dallas 1 Houston LOL
NBA - Dallas 1 (vs LeBron) Houston 2** (both years MJ was out of the league)
MLB - Texas 0 Houston 1* (one legit)
Houston’s sports accomplishments are very aggy in nature.
Fuck these cheating fucking douchebags. The most aggy-like professional sports fan base around. And fuck that shit ass city too. That’s all. ***********
I’ll always have a fond place in my heart for the old Arlington Stadium. Ballpark of course had some very special moments. And I’ve been to several games at Globe Life. Maybe it’s my age now, but damn I love the new place. Like watching a live baseball game sitting in your living room. I’ve sat all over the stadium and have enjoyed all views. Even got to watch a little bit from Chuck Morgan’s box. Man, is that guy fun to talk to. I can’t imagine how electric that place will be next time we’re in the playoffs. Also saw the Air Force-Army football game (go AF) there last year and it’s a pretty cool venue for football too. Will always miss the old stadiums, but already proud of the new one. I’m gonna walk out of there with this clock one of these times!
