Not sure why some of you are sports fans. 31 out of 32 teams will fall short in the end. Might as well enjoy the good times and the Cowboys have had a fun ride this year.
Oh and fuck Baker Mayfield.
An NFL team not having at least one player being overpaid for their 2021 contribution has to be incredibly rare. Especially when you add in injuries.
Positive of Zeke is generally you can trust him. He's not out there fumbling, sitting out injured like McCaffrey, or missing blocks every week.
Ewers should be finishing his senior year in HS under a normal timeline. Very few 18 or 19 year old QBs light it up from the jump in high D1 football. I just hope Texas fans have patience.
Did the Giants play a lot of two deep safeties yesterday? Feel like a lot of teams are daring the Cowboys to run it and the offensive line and Zeke (or even Dak with his legs) can't punish them. Also Schultz is a good receiver but complete ass a blocker.
How much more dominant are the Cowboys at home versus on the road though? Sure I'll take homefield but I really would only fear GB in Lambeau. Know the Bucs took them out there last year but its a big challenge.
And of course the difference between the 1 and 2 seed is massive now.
Green Bay looks so much different at home versus on the road. 6-0 at home but 5-3 on the road and even in the five wins had an OT win and a couple of other coin flip games.
Cowboys 4-2 at home and 6-2 on the road.
Still think it's a bit foolish to think Ewers will be lights out from day 1. Colt threw 18 interceptions as a young qb. The pitchforks were out for Gilbert and now he's been hanging around the NFL for a bit. Can't imagine the fan base being reasonable when Ewers has some ups and downs.
Aren't the Mavs 25th in the NBA in three point shooting? And this is a jump shooting team. Only teams like Oklahoma City, Orlando, and Detroit are worse.
They just suck.
The Texas OL NIL deal helped with offensive line recruiting though. Not paying them before they arrive on campus but making it clear they will get a future bag.
Maybe the aggies did something similar but for far more recruits.
With the NIL are we sure its cheating? Guess I'm just confused if you can keep NIL deals quiet. Seems like a big difference between paying guys to market a company or brand versus giving guys a bag and saying its NIL!! Either way I doubt the NCAA does shit.
Texas rolled out an offensive line NIL deal and hey, it worked.
