I did Walgreen's Rapid test about 71 hours before my flight home to Hawaii from a trip. It was easy to sign up for the drive through test and I got the results in a few hours. Easy to upload the PDF result to the Hawaii Safe Travels portal. What's nice about the Walgreens rapid test is you'll know a couple days before your trip if you failed it and can reschedule accordingly.
Assuming it's long term capital gain, you'll have to pay taxes on it eventually when you cash out. It wouldn't be surprising if that rate goes up this/next year. So maybe cashing out this year, particularly if you have a good use for the funds, might not be a bad idea.
It's a very dark and very good series. It really showed how fucked up the drug industry is. The acting is great all around with the characters being both evil yet sympathetic. Except for the psycho evil Mexican cop. That dude haunts my dreams.
I like seeing Hartnett back but his role was a bit of a throwaway. Any random actor could have played it with the same effect. Hopefully his transition into some meatier roles soon. He was great in Lucky Number Slevin. Jesus, that was 15 years ago.
I saw it last weekend. Pretty good but not great. I feel like past Ritchie films had a lot more twists than this one which was more a straight action film. I think I enjoyed it more than I otherwise would have just because it was my first time in a movie theater since February 2020.
Went to the movies for the first time in 14 months this past weekend a few weeks after my second vax shot. Saw the new Guy Ritchie movie. The movie was just ok but I really loved being in the theater and just the joy that going to a movie entails. I think theaters will pretty quickly experience the return of movie goers. Watching a movie at home just isn't the same.
What I don't get is that between the "unknown" long term effects of Covid versus the vaccine, you're on the side of Covid being the lesser long term harm to kids. And this appears, by media accounts, to be a common view. How do you arrive at that view?
Remember when Republicans said sleepy Joe was going to be a figurehead with Kamala having all the real power? Seems like Joe is doing pretty damn good.
