Bourbon Auction for the ages raises record money for American Cancer Society

We’re there every game. Feel free to come by. Not sure what the menu is yet. The pit is going to Hondo for some maintenance it’s needed for a while. The guy who built it for us has some time and some things he wants to do. Not sure if it will be back in time for Iowa state. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Guys plan on setting up at 8 so they might make it by 9. If I make it by it will be closer to game time. Ask for Robby and tell them John sent you surly fuckers there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just found out the menu is updated to include the smoker. So they will have room for the briskets to keep warm and/or finish. Should also be 20 lb of venison sausage courtesy of yours truly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mostly seasonal stuff so far this season. We don’t know what they plant to give us until we show up to the distributor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I should point out that I won’t make it to that tailgate, but I’ve already talked to the guys who will and they’re happy to have you. We pick up another 20 cases of shiner next week and there’s plenty of tequila and whiskey. They also always have plenty of coconut rum for the ladies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Let me find out if they will have the smoker there. I think the answer is no. There is plenty of room for more warmers though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No problem. Nothing can be worse than the Notre Dame game when we had 300 people there. Plus the sponsors may stop by and we are supposed to have 100+ steady to meet our tequila sponsorship obligations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We also have some Republic Whiskey and Cafe Del Fuego liqueur. *not an ad. Just listing what we have. If I need to omit brands please make that edit for me mods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
15th and Colorado look for the shiner pop ups and a bar with Republic tequila signage. It’s in the NW corner of the DPS lot. We have 20 cases of shiner beer for each game and a couple cases of republic Tequila/mixers. We just ask that people put some money in the tip jar for food and supplies costs. There will be TVs and limited seating. BYO camp chair is advised. Ask for Robby, Ernie, or Matt. I believe fajitas is on the menu for this game. If you plan on bringing something extra let me know ahead of time so we can bring extra warming trays and fuel cans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
City of Austin: When eight gates are open, 50,000 cubic feet of water per second will flow from the dam. That will cause some streets to flood, says Karl McArthur with Austin’s Watershed. “We would definitely have to close Cesar Chavez in the vicinity of Lamar Crossing,” he said. “At Longhorn Dam we would have flow over the emergency spillway. The emergency spillway is Pleasant Valley Road, so we’d have to close Pleasant Valley road there.” Got dam. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lcra just updated the forecast. Expected to reach 700 feet by noon on the 17th. and expected to keep rising beyond that. At least they left it open ended this time. they were too specific before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
