  1. It annoys the hell out of me. Buy Cotton Bowl tickets thru the University. Sit 10 rows from the top of the stadium. Maybe that’s better than getting shut out for the Sugar Bowl vers UW and forced to go secondary market. But this has been the case for a long time.
  2. Nice throw by brother of Jason.
  3. Like the new sock look Andre.
  4. I don’t see why that’d be the case. We need to hit. Probably ought to tank in the SEC tourney. Some downtime would likely help.
  5. It’s likely much easier to coach the awareness out of a player than to coach it into them. Sark has the inkling to be the type to coach it out of you. He might be backing off that some. Both of the points of discussion are heavily impacted by coaching and the environment. Sometimes less coaching results in better production. Vince Young is far from the only guy that needed “let him play.”
  6. And it was Rodriguez with the throw.
  7. It should be remembered that the Aggies are 3-0 versus South Carolina. The South Carolina that has their best non-conference wins over South Carolina Upstate and Charleston. The Aggies best non -conference wins are Cal Poly and Lamar. The Aggies are 1-2 at a neutral site with the win over Rice. 13 wins over sub-500 teams in non-conference. None of those teams are from the top 4 RPI conferences.
  8. Galvan probably watched some Juan Soto in the off-season.
  9. I wouldn’t put some ethical considerations out of play here. The Pigs only chance to win conference is for us to lose more.
  10. Gotcha. I had not heard that phrase regarding Snows.
  11. But that’s probably cause you’re not young, strong, invincible, now are you? So if you are all those things, who needs a flu shot?
  12. I’m not completely certain how to take that but will do so in the purest sense. Yeah, 12 inches of brisket would be outstanding.
  13. Not to redirect but Snows sounds awfully good right now. Anyone hit it up today?
  14. This is one reason I like you. Ballsy. Not afraid to go against the grain. Yes. Throughout a season you’ll need the offense to win a handful of games. Auburn when not run ruling USC they won 11-10. And we are short on blowout wins and coasting too. I had a flu shot. Still got the flu so who knows.
  15. UF just won a Friday game with their starter going what was it 2 or 3 innings. There are alternatives. I’d put Ruger back as a game 3 starter next weekend. He’s likely worn down some so maybe a little extra rest would help. Thursday games have everyone off schedule anyway so it’s not like the traditional starter has typical rest anyway. Burns, Saunier, Bing, Flores all have starting experience. All have gotten outs. You can throw Grubbs anytime. Duplantier and Howard certainly can provide innings. We are a staff that can survive when a starter only goes 2-3 innings. The key is only giving 1-2 runs rather than 6 or 9. Id be hesitant to start Volantis because he’s not going 9 and not sure how long he’d go anyway. For a frosh, he’s pitched quite a few games so not sure he’d extend you beyond 5, maybe 6. Then you get to the 8th or 9th and have to determine do you go Burns or Grubbs. Until runs are scored, it won’t mean much anyway.
  16. Good call. Not sure that’ll be the call though.
  17. @HenryJames Tell the shithead home plate ump he’s useless on my behalf. UF is getting the outside strike, the inside strike, the high strike, the low strike. Been awhile since I’ve seen guys get all 4.
  18. You don’t Snow’s BBQ? What kind of man are you?
  19. No easy games in the SEC
  20. If y’all see me here tomorrow, come kick my ass.
  21. I know. He seems to be an open book. But it’s a bit surprising that level of engagement he drums up. He’s passionate about it. We all are to some degree. And many of us can be over the top. As for me, as of age, I become less mature regarding my sports opinions and dig in a little deeper. It was merely a joke directed at thatguy so Derks don’t think I’m coming at you.
  22. As to the first point, why? And some posters believe another poster has issues. As to the second one, I have some insight but working from educated guesses as to this particular point. There is subjectivity but working from what is likely a defined set of circumstances. It’s a bit fandom view, but the teams use the info so there’s likely team input even if indirectly. So on that play, obviously you’d need a specific visual, but generally speaking that’s on the Oline. If it’s 5 seconds after the snap and the QB runs into his lap in the opposite B gap, then the Oline won’t likely get tagged for that.
  23. I got you. I agree with you. My point still stands. The thrashing of players goes a bit far. I’m not even saying you even though I took a small comment out of context perhaps. Maybe slightly intentionally. That overall tone of negativity is present here on both sides. It’s always team.
