I don’t understand how USC can clean out its offensive staff midseason and somehow claim stability but here we are. I get the feeling that Swann likes Helton a bunch and doesn’t want to fire his friend.
From Bruce Feldman: “One job that many have figured might come open is USC, but sources have told me this week that AD Lynn Swann and Trojan brass are backing Clay Helton and like the idea of having more stability. They like Helton and hope that some staff shake-up (USC dismissed its O-line coach Neil Callaway and Helton took over play-calling responsibilities last week) is their solution. I’m told that unless the team falls apart down the stretch, don’t look for USC to make a move on Helton.” Best case scenario could still play out for us where Helton survives but barely. Tee Martin won’t be there next year either.
Probably for our best, but USC's been looking to oust Helton since that loss to Alabama. JT Daniels getting hurt when he did probably will cost Helton the job.
(That, or not developing his recruits.)
Let’s not forget that Tahoe said he would support camps for immigrants where they’re completely indebted to their sponsors for food, shelter, and education on the old site.
There's nothing I want more than a Harris vs Warren debate. Both of them are incredibly intelligent and Warren especially has been really highlighting her policies.
On the other hand, The GOP is absolutely headed in the same direction as Trump. We won't be able to wash our hands of him, his policies will be treated as the core until a different GOP president. Which means Trump's influence will be heavy going forward. Graham's 63, he could still have a run left in him.
To be honest, why not? Sessions is as good as gone or will retire after the midterms. It's a promotion that Graham's been working towards for a long time.
I'm starting to think the Democrats needs their own version of the Federalist Society. It's basically a career-long purity test, and GOP take their word as gospel.
At the very least, Democrats need to take Judges as seriously as the GOP does.
