  1. Hmmm...so the Paris in Treaty was in 1783 so I would say wait 29 years for your sequel.
  2. William Randolph Hearst would like to have a talk with you.
  3. Who you are related to helps, but there is no guarantee of success. I offer as an example Bob Lilly Jr. whose Dad is an all time college football great, 1st draft pick of the Cowboys, NFL HOFer, and played ins some of the biggest games in the 60's and 70's. Son was terrible, 3-4" shorter, 50 lbs lighter, and didn't have the drive of Dad. Brian Griese wasn't elite and goodness knows all the recent Matthews boys aren't dominating the NFL. Arach has gotten better, he made some great throws last night he wasn't making early in the year and then he absolutely missed some open throws without people in his face. Growing pains and whomever your family is and the amount of training you have gone through isn't going to get around those issues. What would help is get rid of the plays that take 4-5 seconds to develop and let him make the throws in the mid area of the field he has shown he can be quite effective.
  4. NFL practice squad?
  5. Did the report say if the suspect purposedly shot the weapon or merely dropped it?
  6. The only one of those Aldine's that I can remember ever really drawing many was Aldine back in the 90's when Bill Smith was there and they won that state title. I saw them beat the shit out of Willowridge when Ridge had Mike Miller and Derrick Harris. Aldine physically wore their asses out.
  7. Curious how much of that was a hangover from Bosco blowing that big lead to Mater Dei two weeks ago.
  8. if not them, the Belgians, with whom they share a border.
  9. Westfield falls into that category as well as their address is in Houston. They are down though and this might be their weakest team in several years. North Crowley's enrollment I believe is less than 3,000 so they aren't a huge school, but I suspect one big difference is they do support the programs unlike the inner city schools. Way too much money never finds its way to the kids in those bigger districts and you don't see the same level of support behind the programs in the HISD programs and North Shore, Summer Creek, or Westfield. If I recall correctly, Lamar is a magnet school and that allows them to attract players from inside the HISD system similar to Bellaire and all those baseball players and Yates.
  10. Yes, some of you are way, way too uptight.
  11. That is why God created the ice house. You can watch the games with other fans AND you never have to worry about stumbling into the trap of your wife watching Grey's Anatomy and you getting in trouble when you ask how much longer until the next straight male either gets killed in a bizarre accident or is made to look like a total shmuck.
  12. Wouldn't he be a better fit for a school in southern part of Arkansas?
  13. All that is needed, does anyone actually watch ABC? Then again, the same could be said for CBS and NBC.
  14. This needs to be inscribed on the tombstone of college athletics: "They are running the athletic department at a massive loss despite being one of the top schools in revenue and need short term cash to balance their budget. They are more than happy to sell out the rest of the conference long term if it looks good for them in the short term. '
  15. True, but where is Alphabet going to find the level of on the air talent hired by the Mouse and the reason why everyone watches ESPN and not the content.
  16. Ft Worth might have the worst teams in any major city in Texas. Was that way when I went to TCU and hasn't changed in decades.
  17. Just wait until you see what happens to Hulu after the Mouse breaks YTTV.

Thoughts on the concept livery recently rolled out by Audi? https://www.planetf1.com/news/audi-r26-f1-2026-concept-car-revealed I like the color combination.

Niki's comments after his first test drive in a Ferrari are one of the best sporting stories is have ever heard and showed how far Ferrari had their collective heads up Enzo's ass, but how much better Niki knew what made a race car go fast than anyone on the Ferrari payroll.
  22. Can he play offensive line?

Kelly , LSU, and/or the State of Louisiana? I am not for employees getting screwed by a former employer, but in the case of Kelly, I hope they go in dry.

I think each time his name is said there should be a reminder of his role in the death of that young man.

What if he was standing next to an equipment manager on a metal tower in a thunder storm?
