  1. Unfortunately, this is what we get in most NFL games.
  2. Curious, who was the quarterback at Vandergrift? Sounds like a situation similar to Manvel a few years back when they had King and the quarterback who signed with Florida.
  3. Death on the sideline is always a possibility.
  4. If so, will be interesting to see what happens with the quarterback.
  5. The biggest question on coaches making that big jump is can they deal with all the things outside the actual running the program and developing the players. I think Morris is a very interesting name, would Auburn be patient and would they let him do things his way?
  6. Obvious you don't know Gary very well as you said giving anyone ANY authority or decision making in HIS program doesn't equate in Gary's mind that is the same as giving control. Guitar no, part of some fund raising projects, yes and more importantly is conversations with a former room mate who was a regent and still has a great deal of influence in the athletic department.
  7. Gary has baggage and your suggestion that Gary would even think about giving ANY control in HIS program to anyone else shows you really don't know much about Gary.
  8. Why? Who would hire a control freak coach who hates the portal, hates paying players, and doesn't have a great track record of hires or developing staff?
  9. Most of what you say is true, but remember that prior to the introduction of the NFL in the Metroplex and the influence of television, Houston, and New Orleans teams such as SMU, TCU, Tulane and even Rice often drew a good number of fans to their stadiums. The NFL drew eyes and interest away and the influence of the networks has made it tougher and tougher for smaller individual schools to compete if they weren't part of a strong brand or had niche' such as Notre Dame. I would also add you are correct about those schools drawing students from a wide area, but I don't completely agree that those students stay loyal to the schools where they grew up. TCU for example has a number of So Cal kids and many of those stay after school. The challenge though is they are first generation Frogs who are early in the professional careers with new families. Talking with friends involved in fund raising for TCU and a challenge is there are fewer and fewer "TCU families" in large part because many alums can't afford to send their kids to TCU because of cost of tuition. I will defer to the SMU folks to their SMU specific thoughts .
  10. Better than.............
  11. Which part of Montgomery is rural. Unincorporated maybe, but if i am thinking Rural I am thinking Bedias or Iola.
  12. So did they go back to the old rule when they keep Keenum around or how does that work with the game day roster?
  13. George looked really, really, really bad at plate his last 3-4 at bats.
  14. You also forgot one other small detail. I would suggest: Qb sneak from the 3 with the only healthy quarterback when you no longer have an emergency Qb on your roster????
  15. Fuck Trevor Lawrence and please let me know when the DC is suspended for an entire season for a "history of questionable hits".
  16. True, but the Pages can in my mind was still the greater play. Rojas was a reaction play and a good part of that was the ball was hit right at him. If that ball is a few feet either which way Rojas can't make a throw even if he catches the ball Page had to cover and incredible amount of distance and not trip over Hermandez who was falling down .
  17. Fuck that bullshit, Peyton has been the head coach for dirty teams for years in the NFL, Please remind me who was the head coach for the Saint when all that bounty bull shit went on and if you ask Greg Williams that idea didn't come from him.
  18. This was a great defensive play, there were a number of great defensive plays, but THE play was the catch made by Dodgers centerfielder running over Hernandez to make that catch basically Keke wasn't going to make that catch and where the centerfielder had to come from and then go over/through Hernandez was just absurd .
  19. Pavia is a scheming POS off the field with his lawyer so why would he be anything different on the field.
  20. Damn, PNG is in the same district as Montgomery?
  21. Why would they do this?
  22. Good for Lashlee, he has a better chance of getting back to the CFP there than at Arkansas.

Three mock drafts, one of which is from Athlon. Wow, Lindy's not put out a mock draft? Your proof that Clemson is spending more than OU on players is the projected draft rankings of three players from Clemson's 2023 recruiting class? Please go check Wikipedia and all your other highly regarded references and let me know how many high priced transfers Clemson has brought on the defensive side of the ball. While you are at it, go check the Greensheet and Market Shopper for their guest columnists article in which they discuss the number of Top 50 offenses OU has faced this year. I suspect the answer is most likely 1 and they just dropped over 400 yards and 34 points on them.

You are using Mel Kiper as rebuttal material? No need to carry this any further.
