  1. Yeah, she is playing with no confidence. She missed a couple layups against LSU before the Kentucky disaster. I hope she can come back around, but she needs to get her head straight quickly.
  2. Double posting from basketball thread, but I found this while going through my old cards a few days ago. Gotta be worth at least $1000, right? 😂
  3. I was looking through some of my old sports cards to help with an elementary school activity and came across this gem!
  4. I looked at the devil and lived to tell the tale.
  5. Well, weather was pretty shit for our weekend - had nice days on TH/F but the rest of the weekend was super windy, gray, and a bit chilly/rainy. Didn’t venture off Hidalgo this time around - Rusticco was very good. We still had a great time and booked our stay for next year while we were there.
  6. Going back to Isla tomorrow for an annual trip - we always stay at Ixchel. Looking forward to some beach time!
  7. going 1-18 from three and winning by 45…that A&M squad is horrendous.
  8. I had four rounds (five days each round) of EP (etoposide and cisplatin).
  9. Well, It has been about a month since I found out I was in remission, and life is slowly getting back to the way it used to be. My blood cell counts and other blood test markers have gone back to normal, my hair is growing back, and I am feeling much better than I did even at this time last month/able to do more than walk around the block without getting exhausted. Aside from tinnitus, the only major side effect I am having is some peripheral neuropathy in my feet, and to a lesser extent in my hands. Thankfully, it is more of a tingling/buzziness and not painful most of the time, though when I walk for more than a short distance it can feel uncomfortable. I didn't have any neuropathy issues during treatment - it really seemed to start a few weeks after I finished my last chemo round in October, and it has intensified some in the last 1-2 months. The doc prescribed me some Gabapentin for it, but I haven't started it yet - my only experience with it is giving it to my dogs, which made them act like zombies, so I am a bit hesitant to go straight to it. I am going to see if acupuncture (which I have never done) and some full-body exercise (something like pilates) that isn't too strenuous on my feet helps, and hope that along with some more patience and healing time provides some relief before I turn to Rx. Either way, it beats the alternative!
  10. I’ll be giving up my seats. These last couple years have been a beating going to games.
