There is so much to be excited about - opening game at the new arena (I am hoping it isn't wishful thinking that season ticket holders show up and that students are more lively than they were at the Arkansas exhibition), freshmen studs, Tyrese Hunter, Carr being in better shape and playing off the ball, seeing how the returning players gel in year two, etc. I think number one for me may be to see if Disu can be the player we thought he might be pre-injury. He looked more like a basketball player and less like a wobbly gazelle vs. Arkansas, so I am crossing my fingers for him!
This team is good and is going to be really fucking salty by March. My only major concern is if Disu/Bishop gets hurt and we are really hurting on size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’ll be going! I’m incredibly excited to see the new squad and what the environment will be like, even if it’s just an exhibition. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I agree with everything you said, though to be fair, he at least tells everybody at the beginning of the show to get the fuck out and go to the bar if they don't want to listen to his politics.
The password for presale is VICTORYOVERCANCER. They didn't have a ton of presale inventory, but I didn't want to risk Duke fans snapping up all the lower bowl when they go on sale tomorrow. I grabbed six in Sec. 120.
Jimmy V Classic tix go on sale this week (presale starts tomorrow) for any NYC-area Horns. I've never been to MSG so am making a trip of it with some other Longhorn college buddies.
Got a notification to buy parking at Manor Garage today - $225 for the season. Anybody done that garage for any events there/know if it is a huge cluster getting out? I parked over in the garages by Scholz's for some concerts this spring and thought it was worth the 10 minute walk to not have to deal with typical garage clusterf*ck situation.
I had a different experience - I just bought a 2022 Outback from Subaru Georgetown for MSRP a couple weeks ago after Austin quoted me a markup of several thousand dollars. - they would have let me factory order a 2023 (also for MSRP) if I wanted.
I should rephrase to say discussion. We went to Bellagio yesterday and posted up at Enoteca Cava Turacciolo for a couple hours before the festivities. Didn’t have a lot of time, so I think we will go back on Monday (our last day of the trip) to explore more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah…I understand new vs old argument - this is my first time in Italy and I wanted to do it all - I’ve had the best of both worlds and am extremely happy with all my food choices. Added one more thing - did a 29km e-bike tour this morning where we crossed over into Switzerland (second pic is the border crossing/gate you just ride around). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Going to a wedding in Como that goes from tomorrow-Sunday so this is probably the last of “my” itinerary (the wedding itinerary is as ridiculously great as the rest of our trip has been, so not complaining)… checked out Kitchen (that is the actual name)…did the tasting menu/wine pairing and would highly recommend. We made a quick pit stop at the Enzo Ferrari museum this morning before hopping on our train to Como - a great way to spend an hour or so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tonight we went down the road to Antica Moka, where a 75-year-old woman made us a fucking badass five course meal. Oh yeah, and then we got back to Casa Maria Luigia to find Massimo chilling outside in between Frascencana courses, so I got to chat with him for a few minutes. I never want to leave this place (I am leaving for Como tomorrow). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
