  1. True. When a large percentage of people worked an Anheuser Bush then you're gonna have some people who learn how to actually make a good beer.
  2. I limited myself to not listing every great Italian place on the Hill. There is only so much a person can do. I should put the food tour in there though. My GF and I did it once and it was a fun experience. Go a bit of most things in a few hours.
  3. Imo's is atrocious. It's like the a worse pizza hut
  4. Just thought people would enjoy them. No ulterior motive. I know Austin because I live here and I know St. Louis because I lived there. I love showing people around cities, so I created the lists. St. Louis one was an improvement upon the concept of the Austin one.
  5. I know not many people travel to St. Louis, but if you do, it is actually a wonderful city. The food scene is great with lots of regional cuisine that people fall in love with. There are also a lot of fun things to do that are absolutely free. I have compiled a list here for those traveling to use if they ever make it to STL. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x8Pq7GOTTf24wgDjISe6PM0JS5iAd1Kp/view?usp=sharing

  7. Thanks for the feedback. I'll go ahead and fix it.
  8. I'm mainly just a fan of the Jungle there. Tatsuya is better, but the line is ridiculous.
  9. I've never been. I literally pass it all the time and think, "man I should go there," and end up not.
  10. I've actually never used an Air Bnb. I live in my house too often.
  11. I created this list in summer when it feels like 110. This was honestly just a list I was sharing with close friends who were coming to Austin. I just wanted to give the idea that it is hot here. Let me say the list was made in a single day off the top of my head. I'm a huge fan of Tacodeli personally. Always loved their tacos from when they were a small taco joint next to a laundromat. I'm not saying this list is a master piece or a finished product. It's just a list I give to friends coming in town who want to know where to eat when they visit. And right. I should add a high end list. Good idea.
  12. So... I'm gonna keep this thread going because I want more places to eat in Austin. I tried two different ramen places here. Michi Ramen and Ramen Tatsu and both were superb. I like the noodles better at Tatsu, but the Jungle at Michi may be one of my favorites of all time.
  13. Ooooh. Somebody called me reputable. Gonna throw that on the ole resume.
  14. Here is my piece on Floyd. Free with quotes, notes and a film breakdown. http://texas.thefootballbrainiacs.com/2018/03/6890/
  15. The AMA in question
  16. Just remembered the time I had @Thujone on the podcast.
  17. Everyone of these should be the home and away jerseys forever and always.
  18. I've found Axis are actually some of the most elusive motherfuckers in the world. I spent 2 years trying to get an axis and two months to track down this fella Not pictured: The massive amount of sweat from the hunting suit I took off. Still pretty proud of this one.
  19. http://www.hornsports.com/forums/topic/12108-the-daniel-figurelli-interview-warning-nsfw-language Here is the article
  20. Oh! Also talked about Daniel Figurelli. Here is the story I wrote where @Thujone helped me trap DFigs in a corner with his own words. That was some of the most fun I've had writing a story.
  21. Since there is no 2017-2018 thread, I'll post this here.
  22. I mean, I think it was the Harvard asshole lawyer who was at fault, but sure it's all my fault.
