Don't know shit about gaming systems these days - but wife wants me to buy my 7 going on 8 year old a Switch for his birthday this summer. Personally I would prefer a PS5, but without the NCAA FB game being a real thing and the current prices, I think this makes more sense. This would be his first gaming system and he has very little experience with them. Was thinking about getting the following, does this seem reasonable? This is all from Amazon - but should I look elsewhere or need to buy anything else like controllers or anything?
Nintendo switch with red and blue controller and 128 gb memory card $320
Mario Kart 8 $55
Mario Party Superstars $55
Switch Sports $50
I’ve got a great solution. Perhaps we just eliminate all payments to players outside of a mandated consistent stipend from the school and have a governing body that actually investigates and enforces the rules. Wild thought.
100%, maybe. Certainly the only guy looking at rounds 1-2. But I’d say there is a pretty good chance guys like Overshown, Roschon, Coburn, Angilau get a good look late. 3-4 is probably a good bet, with 4-5 being a real possibility if any of the DL/DB’s breakout.
On one hand, they landed a pretty decent transfer recruit that was a position of need for us.
On the other hand, they took Casey Thompson off our hands.
I’d call that a push.
Pro: They’re going to be able to sell the 23/24 DL recruits on immediate playing time.
Con: it will be after everyone watching a second straight year of shitty Edge/DE play causing multiple L’s.
This defense and DC sucks my taint, and if Patterson can’t convince Mathis to come here then he might as well hit the road along with his sweat towels.
Bought tickets to Jurassic Park Dominion for opening weekend with the kid. First in theater movie I’ve been to in a couple years now and I’m excited. Little sad it’s the last of the series, but hopefully it will get a reboot.
I love it when I see ridiculous assumptions from a&m about other teams then ignore the same warts on their own roster.
Ole miss has no qb, so A&M must be bursting at the seems with proven QBs right? LSU beat them last year with probably the shittiest LSU team in 20 years and they think they are on the upswing after all their roster and coaching changes?
This is a very good take, and likely accurate. Porter isn’t a terrible croot, but he’s overrated as a result of a great self marketing campaign by attending all the big camps. He also wants to commit in January and even if Texas does have a spot, it probably won’t be open in January. I also don’t think he has the frame we want for edge, he’s more interior DL when you account for growth.
Texas has moved on IMO.
IF that were true and those numbers are even close to accurate by half, then I really think the world needs to consider taking on a larger role and quickly.
Sometimes a cool video on how tech is used within the football program can just be a cool video on how tech is used by the football program.
Not everything on here is a state of the football union address or a media fluff piece on how we’re winning it all.
