I actually think these helmets are badass and one of the best in CFB with the Aztec theme and calendar. Hopefully they stick with it. They're (in the words of Matt Stone in Orgazmo) "kickass")

Here's the all-navy under the sunlight. Looking much better then I expected.

Haha! That's what some on cougarboard were saying, that they look like pajamas. I personally prefer them to doing the trendy blackout unis and think they will look sharp in the afternoon sun.

SMU and Tulsa would be good adds for the MWC and solidify them as the top G5. Why wouldn't they consider UTEP?

BYU going all-navy vs Boise State on Saturday afternoon (ABC).

BYU @ Utah State 8pm CBSSN
And I'll be there, hopefully, Baylor is able to regain their ranking next week to make it a Top 25 matchup.

Hopefully, tomorrow we can add Arizona State to that list, but I'm only cautiously optimistic.

UH has "sleeping giant" potential as a program. As a P5, they can now sell their program to blue chip and four star recruits and should experience a boost in recruiting because of that. Their future teams are going to be talented and I wouldn't be surprised to see their fanbase grow accordingly.

Zona vs BYU ESPN
I was at the game and can confirm. We weren't buying soda because of caffeine, we weren't buying soda because we are cheap. We came to Vegas with a 100 dollar bill and the ten commandments and didn't break either.

BYU brings a Top 20overall athletic program (Top 20 in the Sears Cup atleast). Would have the largest basketball arena in the conference and a very good academic profile.

Because the situation is very serial.

I doubt they can be redeemed for "happy endings."

I think you underestimate the amount of viewers who support other programs other then the bluebloods in those conferences who would lose interest when their teams are left out. I'd venture to say they comprise way more then 25%

Tell me what's happening in Afganistan (no CR. Can't we all just get along?)
What is a Shia nation doing supporting a hardline Sunni group? You'd think they would be diametrically opposed to the Taliban based on sectarian lines?

Tell me what's happening in Afganistan (no CR. Can't we all just get along?)
Hopefully this is the start of a myriad of uprisings that will stretch the Taliban thin and give the Afghanis some courage to take action and take back their country.

Robert The Bruce? (killed John Comyn in Greyfriars Church in Dumfries).

Realignment talk not going away
If you plan on keeping the conference together while also maintaining P5 status of the conference then BYU most certainly helps.

Fair point, the NCAA is unnecessary and toothless, we need a new central governing body for CFB. However, culling the number of programs that can compete and regionalizing the sport isn't necessarily improving the product on the field, it's turning the game into NFL-lite, which goes opposite of what made CFB so great, fun and intriguing. The intrigue is being eliminated as the sport gets more predictable and regionalized.

Realignment talk not going away
I've been to games at Husky Stadium(Washington), Autzen (Oregon) and The Rose Bowl (UCLA) and each game had a pretty loud atmosphere with UCLA fans being the most casual (t-shirt type, though the Rose Bowl was surprisingly loud. I thought there were 80k+ fans at the games rather then the 60k+ that actually was there). One thing is for sure, the SEC and Blue Blood programs aren't specifically concerned with the long-term health of the sport, its all just a short-sighted cash grab that is killing interest in CFB as more and more programs and their fans get cut out of the competitive picture.

US states brace for ‘avalanche’ of evictions as federal moratorium ends
Unlinking health coverage from employment would be a boost to businesses since they(employers) would no longer have to bear the expense for the employees and give the employees greater flexibility, but I've had too many beers at the moment to explain coherently, lol
