For explanations we’ve gone from nobody could’ve predicted this would happen, to it was always going to be this way. It’s a fluid situation.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
Greg Gutfeld- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
Lol. He asked if anyone had any questions. Then acted annoyed when he got a question he didn’t want. I guess that’s what he gets when he takes them when he’s told not to. He should listen better to his handlers.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
It went so well that the private sector had to mobilize to help our military evacuate people. Flawless execution. It went so well that we’re having to trust the Taliban with securing our targets and securing the airport. You know the people our President rightfully said he would never trust when asked. I’m guessing we’ll never know what role having the Taliban as partners played in deaths of our soldiers or drone misfires or other people not getting out.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
Yes, keep telling people how great this all went.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
Well a right wing guy is king of late night currently and on a cable channel.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
It was wrong. The left pic was from another ceremony. The right pic was from the ceremony. Not the best look in any case.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]

Mitt had binders full of women. Joe has buses full of women. agree to an extent, but let’s not act the media has covered itself in glory over the last few years. And I don’t remember many consequences there. Hell that drone attack was universally reported as a success taking out suicide bombers. Not so much. I shared this because there’s a lot of smoke out there about these private ops going on, some confirmed. I don’t recall there ever being a large scale involvement of private citizens before. That’s noteworthy.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
I guess it could happen. These were different buses that were turned away.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
This would go on DT thread if there was an open one. These are a couple independent reporters. Horrifying if true. Surely not.- Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc.)
Quick explanation is it’s the fees to transact on the Ethereum blockchain. A little deeper explanation here that looked decent when I scanned it over https://academy.ivanontech.com/blog/talking-about-eth-gas-ethereum-gas-explained- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
I saw videos, but posted by a Chinese Twitter account. Pretty crazy.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]

Eth gas fees are crazy right now. Highest ever I believe.- Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
Well, it’s the latest example, so yeah. Maybe we shouldn’t have jumped out saying we landed a precision strike on some suicide bombers. Hopefully the intelligence source gets reassessed. - Afghan War ending, foretold by The Onion 10 years Ago [DT thread ruined by politics]
