I bet a significant part can be explained by underreporting, a low obesity rate of 8.9% (compared to ours of 36.2%) and also their low life expectancy. In 2020 it was 55 years. Under 55 and not overweight and the mortality rates are much lower. But It doesn’t explain it all. India has an an older population at 70 year life expectancy, but an even lower obesity rate at 3.9% and they got rekt.- CR: COVID-19 --Political Talk

If true this is great news. A highly communicable, mild Covid. Will only help build immunity through global population.- COVID-19 2nd wave - Texas only - Stats and such

So how does the government raising the cost of some domestic oil production going forward help lower gas prices in the future?- Joe Biden 2021
That’s fine but it’s not “what needs to be done to reduce the price you pay at the pump”. It’s actually the opposite. Easier not to respond and cry troll than address pretty straight forward contradiction by the administration.- Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc.)
Looks like all financial markets went risk off in response to new Covid variant news. if governments are dumb enough to go back to lockdowns just remember more lockdowns=more stimulus=bullish for bitcoin/crypto. The more they try to centralize control and wealth the more there will be demand for decentralized money/systems.- Joe Biden 2021

What’s up P? I think I’m in your head. Every time I log on I have several negs from you on multiple threads. Imagine one of your main purposes on this site is to track down one poster’s posts for the day and neg them all. My life is stressful, but full. Your negative attitude and lashing out here is pretty obviously compensating for something missing personally. Someone with a happy life would never take on the online persona and behavior that you do. Good luck out there. But really the GOAT of it all is @UpperWestside. I kind of admire his commitment. He’s negged pretty much every post of mine on all forums for the last two years under multiple handles and I don’t think he’s ever actually responded to me directly. I finally looked into his posts a bit. I guess he’s a teacher in NYC. Maybe he didn’t like a past post about school choice? Whatever it is he feels threatened by an anonymous online poster in a way that is pretty impressive. Again, something missing at home so you lash out on the internet. I at least respect the posters that disagree but don’t neg incessantly. Even people like Jimmy James seem to be able to converse aggressively but they’re not typically hostile. I hope you find some peace and contentment UW.- COVID-19 vaccine discussion
The hospital systems in San Antonio have been very liberal with the exemptions. Just click a button and you get approved from what I’ve heard. I wonder if it’s like that in the corporate world.- welcome back to the cloak room, surly conservatives
This is mostly true. One of the key tenets especially with bitcoin is self sovereignty. Not hard to see why that clashes with CR types.- welcome back to the cloak room, surly conservatives
You asked what I contributed to this board. I told you. That’s why it came up. It’s not popular here for a handful for reasons. Most commonly, environmental concerns which are overblown. Also, at the heart of it most people here prefer centralized control of things. So a decentralized money that people that can control on their own is bad bad. If anyone wants to debate those points there are separate threads appropriate for that.- welcome back to the cloak room, surly conservatives
There’s no hustle other than I think it’s a fascinating area of technology and finance. And I’ve been posting about it here since it was maybe 5k. If you’ve been open minded enough to dip your toes in the water you’re up big. And I think ideologically it is was pursuing. As for vaccines, my two biggest positions are that natural immunity is roughly equivalent to the first round of vaccinations and that I’m anti mandate, especially in kids. These positions are not as extreme you try to make them sound. Y’all have a happy Thanksgiving. Time to sign off. If you wanna come say hi I’ll be one of the suckers actually at the game with my family. Hook ‘em. Ps I’ve never pushed NFTs. I don’t own a single one.- welcome back to the cloak room, surly conservatives
School choice, protecting second amendment rights, border security, deregulation, lower taxes, religious freedom, freedom of speech, defending the rights of the unborn, originalist legislative interpretation. Just off the top of my head. These things were all important before Trump and they’re important now. He just co-opted them. You’re wrong and loud about it, but that’s nothing new. From a couple hours ago. You’ve fallen prey to a Calvinist psyop. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/there-never-was-real-tulip-fever-180964915/- welcome back to the cloak room, surly conservatives
You’re wrong. Penelope refuses to see her family. But are they denied entry if they don’t take it? We take a more lenient approach to illegal immigrants than American citizens.Football ...
