  1. At any rate, we beat y'all's ass tonight. Like a drum. And we are a scrub SEC team. So, be prepared to finish fourth or fifth in the division. Y'all's ego won't take that well.
  2. How many times have we beat y'all since then?

    god damn you people must live miserable lives; do y'all kick your dog when you get home or before you leave or both?
  4. omahogsfan replied to petscii's topic in Baseball
    well, that's not exactly true; we got eliminated because our coach kept playing players who were hurt/struggling, instead of going to his deep bench; at any rate, look forward to seeing y'all on the diamond regularly;

    I won't spend the time to find the post, but I will paraphrase a post on this site from a few years ago, when Texas came to Arkansas for a two-game midweek series. We won both games. The post said something about things could have gone worse; could have been a four-game series. And, yes, I very much enjoyed putting y'all out of the World Series in 18.
  6. And not one word about that outstanding photo in my avatar. Not. One. What makes the photo is the little bit of movement at the left that shows you the duck is paddling.
  7. This is my point. Y'all know and I know "vaulted" has been an inside joke on this board for a long time. Yet, some touchy Texas fan negs me for using it, as if I don't know "vaunted." Y'all should be better than that, as you are wont to tell people regularly. And if I need to explain "wont," then, neg away.
  8. Yes. You know what I am talking about. Someone somewhere along the line misused that word for "vaunted," and y'all have used it in its stead since. Come to think of it, I think it was an Aggy. Neg me all you want, but you know I'm right.
  9. just like ... oh, what is the other one? ... "bottled" for "boggled"; I'm not a newbie to this board; I'm a long-time lurker
  10. no, bullshit, that's the surlyhorns way of saying "vaunted" -- is it not?
  11. they didn't get two pick-sixes, and yes, only three picks; was a bit of hyperbole;
  12. No, I do. I'm hoping our opportunistic defense comes up with four interceptions and two of those are pick-sixes. Those would go a long way. And, actually, we do have the DBs and safeties who could actually do that, as they did Saturday. Yes, I know, different opponent. Just sayin'.
  13. If we have to rely on our quarterback to win, we're in trouble.
  14. You are spot on with that. Our showboat second baseman cost us that. Right fielder should have shoulder-blocked him out of the way and made the catch. And, yes, that would have been our first, unlike others who have won multiple. No argument here on that.
  15. All is lost when a goober can't construct a compound sentence with that -- is it -- vaulted Texas sheepskin on the wall.
