  1. I really don’t mind Otter getting some rest.
  2. I mean, in fairness when you select the Hughes brothers you really get three players: Jack, Quinn, and the Victorian-era ghost child who tells Quinn sad things. So just from a roster-management standpoint, I don't know how you can make any other choice.
  3. Well, this is the Finnish team that I think we expected. Not whoever stole their jerseys and took the ice against the dirty Slovaks the other day.
  4. Why do you insist on having terrible opinions? The blue and the green are both striking jerseys. Put them on the ice together and that's just a feast for the eyes (unless you're colorblind).
  5. Here's the play. It's so simple it will never be followed because the Democrats are dumb. Introduce articles of impeachment against Pam Bondi. One article--failing and refusing to adhere to the statute requiring the release of the Epstein files within 30 days. That's it. It's undeniable. The statute was passed unanimously. It's undeniable that the DOJ is not following the law. Is anybody in the House going to vote against that article? Nobody voted against the release of the Epstein files. Now is anybody going to vote against impeaching Bondi when she is refusing to abide by the statute that each member voted to pass just a few months ago? Is any member going to vote against impeaching Bondi and thereby telling her that it's ok that she's keeping the Epstein files secret? I don't think so. So then it goes to the Senate. And are any of them going to vote against conviction? I don't think so. And that's what you need. You need to set that precedent--we're going to impeach and convict some people. Next up--Kristi Noem. Because once you've impeached and convicted one cabinet secretary, it's less earth-shattering to impeach and convict a second. And then a third. And then, ultimately . . . well, ultimately that frog is good and boiled.
  6. Kind of the "color rush" games that college football has started doing for rivalry games. Yeah--Dallas against Detroit or Dallas against Tampa Bay presents wonderful home jersey matchups. And talking about rivalries--the Leafs playing in their blues against the Habs in red or the Pens in black playing the Flyers in orange would be the greatest sports thing I've ever seen. . . . back to the Olympics--that was a really disappointing outing by the Finns. I understand the issues in goal and on the blue line. But scoring only one goal against the dirty Slovaks . . . I mean, fuck.
  7. Hey, @atomheartbevo --how do you like it?
  8. That's how you know that guy's a seasoned fighter. If that were me, I'd continue beating the shit out of the guy who was on the ground. Not because I'm a bad guy (though I undoubtedly am), but because the adrenaline is still up and I'm still in "fight" mode. This dude switches immediately from "fight" mode to normal-caring-human-being mode. It's instantaneous. And that implies that his adrenaline wasn't up in the first place. This was just another day in the gym for him.
  9. Without speaking to the substance of your post, I will say that I don't appreciate getting a notification first thing in the morning that I've been "mentioned" in the Epstein thread.
  10. It's a real risky strategy to put the thing people hate most about this Administration as a big billboard outside polling places? For every Hispanic citizen who would'v voted "D" that you scare away from the polls, how many people who otherwise wouldn't have voted are going to see on Facebook that ICE is in their town intimadating voters and say "oh, fuck that," get up off the couch, and go vote for the Democrats? How many squishy Republican voters are going to see Trump's goon squad out front of their polling place and decide that, just this one time, they're going to vote D? I don't know the answer to any of these questions. But neither does the Administration.
