  1. Fucking beautiful! Jogo bonito at its finest!
  2. I am stumped. This site does not list it: https://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/college-football-national-championship-history This site (looks like last updated in 1998) lists them but with no footnotes: http://www.aggieathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=27300&SPSID=632660&SPID=93232&ATCLID=205238864 Even their wiki page says this (1922 should be 1927?): There was no contemporaneous system in 1927 for determining a national champion. However, Texas A&M was retroactively named as the national champion for 1922 by Jeff Sagarin. Most selectors have named either Illinois or Georgia as the 1927 national champion.[2] The team was ranked No. 11 in the nation in the Dickinson System ratings released in December 1927.[
  3. The 1927 and 1919 seasons may ask 2010 to hold their beers: 1927 Rankings using the Dickinson system. From titop25.com: Texas A&M now claims themselves national champions of 1919, and they put it up in big letters on their stadium to let everyone know that it must be true. How very--is there any other way to put it?--aggy of them. Sad, really. I suppose that 90 years from now, Marshall will claim themselves national champions of 1999. They were 13-0 that season, and finished ranked #10 in the AP poll. Of course, Marshall 1999 actually has a better case than Texas A&M, because they at least played a couple of top 50 caliber opponents, and Texas A&M would not have come close to #10 had there been an AP poll in 1919. More like #16-25. I have them ranked #23 for 1919. Well, at least Notre Dame still has the dignity not to claim an MNC for 1919.
  4. Wait - once you put it on the stadium, you can't take it down. aggy being the smartest guys in the room were bragging that they tried to lock him up for 15 years. No takesies backsies (pretty sure that is the exact legal language in the contract). Gotta love John Sharp's arrogance in answering that question and having no clue that people were calling him an idiot for doing this - aggy, never stop being aggy 🤣
  5. Yes Yes Yes Qataris (plural? like Ataris 2600s?) gotta be pissed (or not pissed -ha) booze is banned. After watching this team, heavy drinking should be required.
  6. Ha! NFL! With the Uncle Rico throwing motion, I'm thinking there was an F left out of the league he is perfect for. Prolly 5th or 6th round draft pick.
  7. Ewers and Uncle Rico have the exact same throwing motion. Jeebus!
  8. Quinn throwing motion not doing him any favors. They knocking em all down.
  9. baylor on pace for 664 688 760 yds rushing at this pace.
  10. Daym - didn't know so many players wear sleeves on aggy!
  11. One drive and they one player has out rushed the entire Texas team from last week (29 yds)!! Baylor Rushing CAR YDS AVG TD LONG Craig Williams 4 30 7.5 0 19
  12. And after the FIRST drive of the game, Williams for baylor has out rushed the entire Texas team from last week (28 yards)!!!! It is things like this that drive me crazy and are inexcusable! Joke! Baylor Rushing CAR YDS AVG TD LONG Craig Williams 4 30 7.5 0 19
  13. Mitchell throwin down the Darryl Dawkins Chocolate-Thunder-Flying, Robinzine-Crying, Teeth-Shaking, Glass-Breaking, Rump-Roasting, Bun-Toasting, Wham-Bam-Glass-Breaker-I-Am-Jam x3 no less!
  14. Thanks! Whoever is the second source up there - love the attitude/arrogance - even if we can sell 15,000 tickets, we won't even consider it. Yay? Makes literally no sense! We sure Patterson isn't head of basketball operations?
  15. We gonna need a bigger boat aggy hall of champion(s)!
  16. Thanks - apologies for rehashing.
  17. Thanks! And wow! Any links?
  18. Exactly - WTF? Every game I checked on StubHub has the upper deck showing no tickets - blocked off? Are we keeping. the upper deck closed for the entire season? Forever for basketball?
  19. So two ticket classes - season tickets and student? Odd, since if they are opening tickets to the general public (just got 3) for a Gregory game that only seats 3,500, there is availability. I wonder if the plan is to give first dibs to students and season ticket holders for individual games, then open up to the public when tickets are left? Kind of odd, but looks that way based on the Gregory game, maybe. Also, just looked on StubHub - are they not selling tickets in the upper deck? All of this is so strange.
  20. SIAP. Does anybody know what the deal is with single game tickets? They are claiming all sold out but they aren’t. They just opened up tickets to the Gregory Gym game - got 3 so hyped!!!!! - so if that is not sold out, no way A&M Commerce is sold out on Dec 27. Is this some deal with the devil with StubHub (the website says check SH) or some other bizarro plan? I assume they will open up to the public before these games, but why not just sell them now? Thanks!!!
