  1. We just moved back to central Texas and my son plays for the LH middle school which runs the same scheme. I didn’t care for the Slot-T at first as it is too one dimensional for my preference. That being said, it’s perfect for the talent in this area. We don’t have a deep pool of elite talent but we have a ton of hard working, disciplined kids who whole heartedly believe the sum of the parts is greater than its pieces. We would be a below average team if we ran the spread. We just don’t have the horses. The scheme will eventually limit our ability to compete. But for now, it’s awesome to see bunch of normal everyday kids staying competitive with D1 talent.
