  1. I get a strong vibe from her that she never tells her partner, ā€œ I don’t really feel comfortable doing thatā€¦ā€
  2. Our losses are usually very close, and a lot of our wins are by a large margin. Just by that metric, I’m a pretty happy Gator right now…. that we turned into a basketball school. AARRGGGHHHH!!!
  3. I am not a captain of industry, and I’m not gonna put the lion’s share of my late life retirement assets into this one stock, no matter how attractive. I do have an order for when the bell rings Tuesday to increase my holdings to 25,000 shares, and I will ride or die with that. It’s only me, and I have a relatively simple lifestyle and almost no debt, so if this thing makes it back to the original $40 per share price, I will thank 8 lbs. 6 oz. newborn infant Jesus. The second harvester’s food bank people are gonna love me.
  4. ā€œI’m buying IBRXā€¦ā€
  5. if this thing hits 125, I’m sitting in my paid-off house, thinking about my new boat and truck…and all of the disapproving stares I got the week before in Isla Mujeres from older women looking at me and the Sugar Baby.
  6. Even though the chemo regimen I insisted on was pills for three months instead of infusions for six months (I still took the oxy platinum infusions every three weeks), I still developed neuropathy in my feet, especially the right one. Fortunately it’s not painful, it’s just a mixture of numbness and it feels like I’m walking on a shoe where there’s twigs underneath my sock. It is still there after seven years. I would trade that any day for my NED diagnosis after initially being told I had stage four metastasized cancer. But I’m gonna check out that Robb protein for six months and let you know what happens
  7. Told my wife to find her fanciest pair of leggings cuz we going to Chili's tonight! NorthLoop with the Groupon before getting his grope-on.
  8. Now you are bragging that you don’t speak moron. If the house is an asset of the 401(k), and a 401(k) is an ERISA plan, it is not subject to seizure by creditors. So I guess you can put down the deposit and buy the home, transfer it to your 401(k) and then quit paying on it. Free housing is better than sitting on the beach and earning 20%.
  9. Way back in the day the state of Arkansas had a state law that interest on credit cards could not exceed 9%. I had just moved to Louisiana when I found this out and researched banks in Arkansas. I applied and got a card with the 9% cap on interest. Needless to say, banking lobbyists got with the legislature, and that thing went away pretty quick.
  10. i’m not trying to brag, but I did, in fact, Super-size my lunch today. With no regrets…
  11. A dressed meatloaf and Swiss with buffalo sauce on sourdough works for me
  12. After a late-life divorce and self-employed business setback, I was a bit late to the wealth accumulation game. I can retire now just fine, but I’m probably gonna work through the end of the year just to have more money to help my two adult sons. I’m gonna pay off student loans for one kid and fund some house repairs for the other. A person nearing retirement should not endanger their financial well-being during retirement because their kids need financial assistance. But once you are comfortable, I think it’s better to help them stay as debt free as possible to smooth their future (rather than wait till you die and give them some money.) i’ve also decided to fully match their IRA contributions if they put 50% in each year over the next five years, so they will have something to grow over the next 30-40 years (and more importantly, some added incentive to contribute in the first place) If I didn’t really enjoy my work as much as I do, this would be a no-go.
  13. oh well.. I see we have verification of moon status
  14. 401k 9k shares @ $2.37 3k shares @ $3.44. Roth IRA 3k shares @ $ 2.72 Up 91% and 32% and 88% respectively. June, July and August 2025 buys. Good news is the IBRX stock hitting is making people look at other low priced bio stocks, and the $20k ONCY I bought January 15 is up almost 8% today. I have a bunch CDs and bonds in 75% of my retirement funds because I’m old and worried about the market tanking…but I’m too greedy to accept 4% portfolio interest/dividends when the market does its market thing, so I play with the 25% looking to make some quick gains. I think I’m gonna grab that 8% on ONCY and call that stonk a wrap and hold onto IBRX longer term. Since I’m old enough to remember President Eisenhower addressing the nation on our black-and-white TV, preservation of at least most of my retirement funds outweighs everything - even my greed. Which is why I sold my JOBY as soon as I could make a buck (70% in a week or two. I can’t remember who is stanning that stock, Harrison probably. But I do appreciate all the tips you guys provide more than you know.)
  15. Like a World War II fighter pilot claiming an aerial victory - even a legitimate victory - without photographic evidence it did not happen.
  16. This has a very strong Waiting for Guffman vibe. It’s like he and his wife are about to do a community theater production of How the West Was Won.
  17. I was surfing YouTube videos last night, and someone talked about this attack and referenced it being a missile attack. That said, they provided no conclusive information that it was missiles, or the type of missiles, etc. if that is a major drone factory, I would imagine that Ukraine wants it flattened, rather than partially damaged and the contents capable of being assembled and sent to Ukraine later. We may never know
  18. ā€œProbably gonna save this piece of chicken. Already had a piece of broccoli.ā€
  19. Sounds like a good time to buy shares in Megabus stock
  20. Since volatility makes for an interesting day, I’m thinking of buying ONCY @ 1.07. Another cancer immunologic drug play. Any reason I should not? Or should I get in on the ground floor in the resurgence of mail order playful sea monkeys?
