Trivial Things That Make You Surly
People that plan meals all day. (Wakes up) What do you want for breakfast? (spends 20 minutes talking about what to eat for breakfast from eggs and bacon to French toast, to breakfast tacos and eventually decides on bacon and eggs) 30 minutes to make breakfast. 10 minutes eating breakfast. 5 minute break. What’s for lunch?

I was tempted by YouTube tv but according to their website (and tell me if I’m wrong) no LHN (I enjoy the baseball) no ID and no HGTV (wife requires them).

I love my Honda mower. Self propelled selectable speed. Mulch or bag. I almost went with a ryobi or ego mower as the battery stuff is good now. And if you aren’t careful gas can ruin a small motor now. I do have a ryobi 40v string trimmer. One charge will be enough to clean up the yard twice. The front attachment is eXpand-It compatible so all my attachments from my string trimmer (edger, limb saw, tiller, etc).

We don’t like it. I’d like it gone. I don’t know if I trust someone to dig next to the house.

This thing. I don’t like it. What’s the smartest strategy? Beavis and Butthead style cut near the bottom?

You didn’t ask me but ill respond anyway. This setup works as I get access to both local and streaming channels but it isn’t ideal. I’m already irritated by switching between antenna and PS Vue streaming.- Cord Cutters Thread
I got suddenlink internet installed today. Speedtest shows >900mbs down 50mbs up in Pflugerville. Overkill, I get it. I am using a Netgear CM700 modem I bought then read reviews. Evidently it had some Intel Puma Chipset that has some design flaw according to the interwebs. Two issues: latency issue and DoS susceptibility. From what I’ve read, latency would be most evident in online gaming which I don’t do much. But I don’t what to hang on to something with known flaws. I’m not seeing any issues but I’ll probably replace it with the CM1000 (Broadcom chip) because it’ll always be in the back of my head.- Hot Springs, AR
Two of the big rides were out of commission but since I was with kids under 6 it didn't affect me much.- Hot Springs, AR

Eating at Last Chance Lakeside Cafe in HSV. Verdict to follow.- What Podcasts Are You Listening to?
Had to look it up http://mentalfloss.com/article/61552/what-vocal-fry There are podcasts I would listen to if other people did the voice. Stuff you missed in history class is one. Lore is another.- Hot Springs, AR
Magic Springs today. Not that busy. Never waited for a ride. Kids had a good time but they were toast by 5pm. As far as dining, we ate at the Purple Cow (50s style diner) and their food was good enough. The shakes were really good.- What Podcasts Are You Listening to?
That’s debatable. In fact, it has been debated. It’s no serial.- I like Cereal.

I’m a huge fan of cracklin oat bran. Have been since my grandma introduce me to it when I was 12. I still eat it twice a week. Cinnamon life/ cinnamon Chex are in the rotation. If I eat fruity pebbles or coco puffs, it’s for dessert. So good. Our cabinet like a month ago. The Rice Krispies were purely to make rice crispy treats.- Hot Deals Thread

Creepy how similar this is for our plans. It’ll be our first time to go. Going with 5 yos. Same time. Visiting parents. Staying at an Airbnb on a lake.- Sunglasses - Ray Ban or...
Anyone ever buy replacement lenses? I got a pair of Oakley holbrooks with non-polarized grey lenses. I don’t mind the frames. And I don’t want to drop $100 for lenses or replace the sunglasses. Are any of the aftermarket lenses worth a damn. Walleva, Revant, etc Edit To Add: just did some browsing on the oakley forums. The replacement lenses at the bottom line from revant, walleva, fuse, etc are crap. No better than stage lenses. Some leading to headaches. Some of the premium lines from Fuse and Revant get a lot of reviews that are pretty good. Ikon seems to be okay. Linegear are probably a step up from any of the ones listed.. In case anyone else was interested.- Home Owners, Auto Insurance, and Related Stuff
