  1. My preferred method for cooking hard boiled eggs: put them in an electric kettle and cover with 2” of water and switch kettle on. After kettle switches it self off, wait 13-15 minutes and the take out the eggs and put them in an ice bath. Perfect every time.

$5/12oz is ridiculous. That beer is far to dangerous to be priced that low. $10/12oz is a good price for keeping me out of trouble. somewhat.
  3. Caught the first episode on demand. Pretty good. Think I am in for the season.
  4. 35 posts to go, almost a third of the way there

TW and Specs in Austin got a dump last Friday while I was stuck in all day meetings.
  11. yes. and it doesn't let me see the lulz.
  12. MGM offering refunds: http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/22953947/mgm-resorts-offering-refunds-canelo-alvarez-gennady-golovkin-rematch-ticket-buyers-fight-jeopardy-being-canceled But looks like stubhub tickets haven't taken a hit yet. I would be real wary of buying a secondary ticket at this point, as chances are the card isn't canceled even if canelo can't fight and you will end up paying out the nose to watch GGG take on some schlub.

I wonder if there will be a volunteer shortage and they will have to pay people with actually money.
  14. My employer blocked lulz and gambling. Guess its back to facebook for both.
  15. Did Liberty give ESPN teh rights for free with the promise they would make it has horrible as possible to drive people to the online platform? Doesn't seem a good way to gain fans in the US. I would almost prefer them run the races tape-delay so they can insert the commercials and not miss crucial parts of the race. For those who miss the post race interviews (or will buxton), some are available on the F1 youtube:

Had the martin house salty lady with fresh jalapenos added to the hop rocket at craft pride's hot pepper beer party. Would make a hell of a brunch beer on it's own or with a little clamato / tomato juice added.
