  1. Jesus you’re a fucking moron. That entire list just proves that it’s not easy beating top 10 teams. There are 4 coaches on that list with a winning record. Day had a losing record until this last game. Sark just beat the shit out of Dabo, the dude that just lost at home to Kelly, another guy with a terrible record. Maybe you’d prefer DeBoer that is likely going to get fired at Bama. Same dude that just got butt fucked by FSU and ou last year. Just stop man. I get why most people have you on ignore. If you can’t enjoy where Texas football is right now and what this program has accomplished, then go be a bandwagon fan for UGA. When this team is playing in the playoffs again this year, go fucking root for the other team. The entire sport respects sark and what he has done. There’s a reason we were preseason #1. Also a reason why Vegas had tOSU favored to win this game. It’s because they are a fucking elite team playing at home. Go settle rooting for aggy.
  2. lol, per some YouTube video. Kirby Smart is the only active coach with a winning record against top 5 opponents. So you’re not going to find a list of coaches that beats up on top 5 teams. Kirby and Day have been cheating pre-Nil with stacked rosters and it took them 8 years. Day was on the verge of being fired a few months ago. Get out of here comparing Sark vs Franklin, a guy who has what, 1 fucking win against a top 15 team. If you’re going to shit on Sark for losing to DeBoer, Smart, and Day… then give him credit for winning big games against Bama; Michigan, Clemson, and kicking our rivals asses more times than not. Oh yeah, he did that taking over a mess of a program. Here is the list of top college football coaches that are getting calls if a major program opens up. Please name me who you’d like to hire and who has their program currently in a better state. Smart Day Dabo DeBoer Franklin Lanning Freeman Cristobol M. Riley Kelly Heupal Rhule L. Riley Who are you picking from that list that isn’t Smart, Day, or Dabo? Because you’re bitching about things those other guys haven’t achieved either.
  3. He’s the only coach with back to back play off runs to the semi’s and has won 25 games the last two years, won a conference title and played for another. If your biggest gripe is that he lost twice to two national championship level coaches at two programs that are at the top of college football, then go be a UGA or Ohio state fan because outside of those two, there’s only 1 other active coach with a ring on his finger, Dabo… and Sark just waxed him a few months ago. A lot of people suck against those defenses… it’s why those programs have championships. We took one to over time and were a missed FG from beating them and we had our chances against Day but fell short. Sark is right there and I’d rather bet on him than go hire James Franklin or Josh Heupal. Or maybe you’d like to hire Dan Lanning that got a beat down from Kirby his first year or just got boat raced by Ohio State a few months ago. If your idea is that there is a long list of coaches that are going to consistently beat those programs, then name them. Otherwise shut the fuck up because you sound like a dumbass. The dude has built one of the best defenses in Texas history, has us at the top of of recruiting, is churning out NFL talent, has a stacked roster, and is a few plays away from playing in the national championship. I sure as fuck believe he can do it. It took Kirby and Day 7-8 years to win it. Sark is in year 5 at Texas. And he didn’t walk into a loaded roster like those two did. Some of you must have been born yesterday because we’re not that far removed from losing to Kansas at home. And now we’re bitching that we couldn’t beat Bama, Michigan, and Ohio state all on the road in consecutive years. Fuck off.
  4. Ohio state returned 3 of their 5 starters on the OL from a national championship team and their 2nd teamers, 2 returning starters at WR (both 1st round picks), and a QB that was in Day’s system for an entire year. Day has been there 8 years now. They put up 200 yards and 14 points at home. Sark has demonstrated anything but piss poor coaching. Dude was 8 yards and 5 yards away from playing for the national championship and has put more players on the NFL draft the last two years than any other coach. Dude lost by 1 score to the defending national champs and top 5 team on the road. Criticize his in game decisions but fuck off with some of your comments. I’m pissed about this loss too but don’t be a dumbass. This is a damn talented team, with an elite defense, that is going to win a lot of games. The guy responsible for it is Sark.
  5. Ohio State also had 7 months to prepare…
  6. Yes ofcourse. Arch had at least 4-5 easy throws on drag routes and out routes I saw him throw into the dirt, throw behind the WR, or rocket it to the WR making it uncatchable. Not sure what you want sark to do if he can’t make an easy throw. It was clear he was rattled. As to your turnover comment… that turnover led to 7 points for tOSU. I actually would have much preferred us to be conservative, punt it, and pin them back. In a game like this, the margin for error is very low. Neither QB was going to light it up. Every game preview talked about how elite these defenses are and how green the QBs are and the tough situation it would be to face these defenses in their 1st real starts. So I disagree turnovers aren’t always the issue…. It was huge issue this game. I do agree that he should have called more designed runs to get Arch in the flow of the game to start. When he started doing that, Arch was clearly more comfortable and the offense was able to move the ball much better. Sark said as much in his post game press conference.
  7. We’re running 12 personnel a lot. So basically it’s 6 new faces out of the 7 that are near the ball. It’s not just Arch you’re teaching the offense to. We weren’t running last year’s offense in Quinn’s first year here. Colt scored a total of 7 points at home against tOSU in his 2nd year under Mack’s offense. He went on to win at a high level.
  8. I think he would have gone for the FG if but then Baxter ran it to the 1. Shit I go for it at the 1 yard line every time. It was a 7 point game at that point and if we don’t get it, they are pinned at the 1 with an offense that wasn’t doing much. Like someone else said, I just didn’t like the QB sneak play call there.
  9. I won’t argue with that. I wish we saw more misdirection. This offense was very different from the last two years. Much more vanilla. My assumption is that the OL or QB or just entire offense just isn’t there yet to handle some of the stuff he wants to do. Maybe we’ll see more of it as they have more time to install, teach, correct.
  10. So who? Name the OC? I’d love Chip Kelly but he’s not coming here. And that motherfucker couldn’t put up more than 10 against Michigan at home last year. So who else that would be an improvement. Name them?
  11. Ah yes, because we can come out and gun it when our QB was throwing passes in the dirt to start the game and the entire 1st half. Yeah, that’s what you do when your QB is struggling. You just gun it! Wave a want and gun it! Fuck running the ball to calm him down. Who would do that. Good thing the coach that beat us today gunned it with his first year QB to the tune of 120 yards passing. This fucking board is worse than Texags.
  12. Hell yeah man. Fuck that Sark guy. Let’s go hire that hot OC at Clemson with multiple NFL WRs and an elite QB. He scored a whopping 10 points at home to an LSU defense that has been dogshit for 3 years. Or let’s go hire that badass OC Grubb. That guy is elite. He scored a scorching 17 points against returning 2-10 FSU defense. Or hell, let’s go get the OC from the defending champs. That dude is a badass. He got a total of 200 yards today. Or I bet we’d love to go get the Penn state guy that can’t ever beat anyone with the most boring offense I’ve seen. Or man, maybe we get the Michigan OC! Or how about the ou OC? He’s hot right now with 1 good season at wazzu. Or shit, let’s get that young and upcomer Klein…. He scored a whole 0 points in the biggest game of their year. How about that LSU OC that put up 17 against clemson. Sark could never score more than that against that Clemson defense. Fuck Sark, what a loser.
  13. The poster I was referencing was complaining that we didn’t call a rpo or play action or misdirection on that play. My point was that the opposing coach didn’t either and just ran the ball up the middle 7 straight times…. Most of them for 1-2 yards. But yes, I agree with you that I would have called a run play with Baxter instead of the sneak. But considering the push their DTs got on that play, not sure that would have resulted in a TD either. Their DL made the plays when it mattered.
  14. Just ignore him. Complete moron. Some fans have this expectation that we are going to win every game and never lose. That’s not the reality of college football anymore with our schedules. I’d be more concerned if tOSU put a beating on us like FSU did to bama. Instead we’re leaving this game wondering how we lost when we beat them in most of the statistical categories except being -1 in turnovers.
  15. Man we have been deprived of football for months. We did a lot of good things this game. Special teams was lights out too, forgot to mention them. Get the offense to gel and we’ll be hard to beat.
  16. No you keep bitching about the play calls. The coach that beat us called the same plays. So stop your bitching. We lost dude. It sucks. But you’d be bitching whether we threw it, ran it, punted it, or kicked it. These big games come down to 1 or 2 plays. We didn’t make them today. But the complete overreaction considering we played the #2 team on the road in our season opener is exhausting. Nick Saban isn’t walking through that door to coach us…. And don’t forget that motherfucker lost at home to the coach you keep bitching about. Go smoke a bowl and enjoy this season. We’re going to win a lot of games and hopefully get a chance to play in the playoffs. Perhaps you’ve forgotten the decade plus of ass beatings we received but I’m excited about this team.
  17. Ohio state ran it 7 straight times on their 1st score. Most were for 1-5 yards. Just like Sark’s play calls. They converted their 4th and 1 and we didn’t. Perhaps that national championship coach on the other side is the idiot as well.
  18. Buddy, it’s game 1. 2 weeks ago, all the reports were that the offense had tons of issues with pre-snap penalties. Our LT hasn’t practiced for 2 weeks. There are 4 new starters on the OL. Misdirection, motion, and everything you’re asking for requires a disciplined OL with experience which is not what we have. On the road in that environment, you probably don’t want to put your OL in a position to make mistakes on a critical drive. I do agree, I probably wouldn’t call a QB sneak there on 4th down. But those first 3 play calls got positive yards every time so I have no issue with them as it got us to 4th and 1. Keep in mind, Arch wasn’t hitting his WRs on underneath routes. Given all that, I’m probably going conservative in that situation and hoping the OL can get a push for 1 yard. Sucks that we didn’t get it. But let’s not pretend like Arch was lighting it up and that we have an experienced OL to do the things you are asking in game 1. Now let’s see how this offense evolves.
  19. So the booze has worn off. Rewatched the game. Obviously it sucks we lost but I saw a lot of good things. 1. Run game. We couldn’t run the ball last year against good teams. We ran it for 166 yards and OSU ran it for what, 80 yards? In a game where both teams focused on running it. That was an elite defense. I liked what I saw from the OL. We created some holes. I think Wisner needs to be the feature back. He played very well. Baxter is only going to get better as he gains confidence. 2. Defense. Fucking legit defense. That is going to be the best collection of skill players we will see all season. They held them in complete check. Fucking 200 yards of offense at home, let’s see what other team accomplishes that against tOSU this year. 3. This is a very inexperienced team on offense. It’s going to take 5-6 games for this thing to click. And when it clicks, it will be hard to defend. Arch missed some very easy throws today. These are not difficult throws. He’s innately a gunslinger and will need to check it down rather than sitting in the pocket all day and forcing it. The OL gave him plenty of time today. What stings is that we win this if we don’t shoot ourselves in the foot. But this was a great barometer for us to learn about ourselves. We lost by 7 to likely the 1 seed on the road. Hopefully we see them again.
  20. Yeah, I bet if he ran it Baxter and didn’t get it, you’d be bitching why he didn’t call a sneak since it worked the 1st time on 4th down. Hindsight is 20/20. That was a good defense we played against good coaches on the road in an intense environment with a new OL and new QB. Have some perspective man.
  21. He’s a Bert Auburn missed FG from beating UGA in Atlanta. If your expectation is that we are going to win every game against national championship winning coaches in their established careers, then you’re going to be disappointed, that’s not reality. But Sark is plenty capable of beating Kirby. Hell, I think he’s going to this year. UGA doesn’t have the skill talent Ohio State does, doesn’t have an QB, and is replacing a ton on defense. Let’s see how it plays out.
  22. Ofcourse he can. We had the personnel his first two years to run it in between the tackles and had a pretty good redzone offense. With Quinn and the running back injuries, we were limited in what we could do. I saw a lot of good push against an elite DL today. We ran for 166 yards at 4+ yards a carry in game 1. He just got cute with the QB sneak. Give it your big RB and pound it. But you’ve got a 6’4 225 lb athletic QB on the 1 yard line. Lots of play callers would consider a QB sneak in that situation. It just didn’t work.
  23. He basically admitted to this in his press conference. Playing your first game with a new QB at tOSU is a tall task. I can understand why he went in conservative not having any film on Patricia in a game where the margin for error is very low. I imagine we’ll see a much more aggressive game plan moving forward.
  24. Ryan Day’s OC had 200 yards of offense today with two 1st round WRs, the best TE in college football at home with a national championship caliber OL. They are a bobbled catch from scoring 7 points at home. Don’t overreact. Sark has his issues with red zone and he’s shown not to have an ego. I imagine they are going to work on it a shit ton. This team is extremely inexperienced and you’re going to see improvement as the season progresses. Outside of UGA, we’re not going to face another defense like we saw today. Give the team some time to gel and work through it. Btw, Grubb whom many consider to be an elite OC, scored 17 on the road against a shitty FSU defense. LSU is struggling to put up points against the same Clemson defense that Sark ran 300+ yards on. Some one suggested Malzhan, lmao. Yeah, the dude would bring Herb Hand with him. No thank you. I’m cool with Sark calling plays. Sucks we lost but I’m okay with being patient and letting him problem solve the offense.
  25. We peaked as an offense in 2023. Pair that offense with this years or last years defense and we win it all. Arch was going to have one of these games. All QBs do. Quinn threw like 5 picks vs osu on the road. Ehlinger had his share of wtf games. Arch will do some good things but we can’t expect to put the game on his shoulders like we did today. We were running the ball just fine. We should have stuck to it, given Arch some easy reads…. If the throws are not tbere, just take off for 2-3 yards. Take the FGs if they are there. Limit penalties. Do that and we probably win this 17-14. The play calling in the red zone was atrocious. We were in the red zone 3 times and came away with 0 points. We had better field positions and out rushed them. Losing this game is on everyone including the offense. With that said, this team will improve. This is probably a 3 loss team, maybe 4. No one should be pencilling this team into the playoffs. Offense needs to find an identity before we start talking championships.
