  1. Dammit I just figured out why my old AC company now sucks so bad. They got bought by PE. The old owner was a good old dude, handled every complaint personally. I had an issue once, I forget the details, I talked to him about it, he told me "well you seem like someone who's thought this through, what would you consider a fair resolution?" I told him 50% off and he immediately said OK. I used them for 10 more years, never had an issue, I have a rental condo and two offices in a building I own. I knew he sold out, but I thought it was some other family-owned type deal. But all the indicators are there, a lot more advertising and marketing, cold calls/texts, a new phone system that never leads to a live person. Announcing new acquisitions. And the run-around...well it's hot outside, maybe you need a new unit. Long story short I dumped them last year.
  2. I think Kersh would be used in situations with more than 1 inning to go. Either Yamamoto comes out for the 9th or a non-high leverage guy starts the 9th with a short leash. Casparius, Wrobleski, Banda, or Dreyer, with Sheehan and/or Roki warming. The Treinen card has already been played.
  3. All I could think at the end of last night's Phils/Dodgers game was 'that's something Arch would've done.' Something minor goes wrong, panic, do the wrong thing.
  4. And if Freeman fields the bunt, it is Muncy's job to cover 2nd.
  5. I think he said Tommy (Edman) covers 1st. So Freeman needs to beat the batter to 2nd in case the batter is safe at 1st.
  6. 69 years old and hard of hearing. An old deaf guy driving a grease truck.
  7. That explains Utah.
  8. Al’s called him Whttingham 3x in a row now.
  9. That play call on 1st and goal from the 1 was Sark-esque.
  10. Why are the shooter's pants falling off?
  11. And actually increases the odds of an accident. Because everyone else knows you don't have the right of way and are not expecting you to go.
  12. Pros: our road whites are still awesome.
  13. Serious question, why are Mahomes and Kelce there? I get that it's their home stadium, but it's not like Dak and Micah are at Jerryworld when Arky plays Aggy.
  14. And he also was...immamac mindblown.gif
  15. Two of my favorite sayings: 1. Don't take pleasure in the misfortune of others. 2. Nobody's perfect.
  16. Sorry but I gotta say I’m disappointed in this post. I thought for sure you were the truck driver.
  17. I use his line a lot IRL whenever someone gives a wishy-washy statement. So you're saying " Either he's alive or he's dead, or the cops got him or they don't."
  18. Elko will take a lifetime supply of mac and cheese.
  19. And driving in a new-ish, decent enough car that clearly is equipped with Bluetooth.
  20. Yeah, maybe I'm cynical but the main point of foreign aid is to extend US influence. A secondary outcome is the humanitarian aspect.
  21. That guy was a Mormon.
