Really the only thing holding Card back is that he is consistently late on throws. He has to see something develop and then waits a tick to be sure. We can cherry pick plays where he executed well, but the vast majority of his throws are late... even the positive plays. For example, the Whittington catch on the sideline. Was it a toe drag? Maybe. That throw was also a count late. You know the route, you see the coverage throw the damn ball, and that is an NFL catch with zero question. He has plenty of arm, he is obviously a good athlete. He just doesn't have anticipation... that is something that I am not sure can ever be taught. The idea that the offense is not limited with him the game is absurd. With the addition of Worthy going out, that played right in to the strength of Tech's defense. Three and out definitely have an affect on the defense, but at some point somebody has to be the "guy." Somebody has to make a play when no one else will. We stared at the ball on the ground twice yesterday... we gave up 6/7 4th downs, we were awful on 3rd. Several of those instances we had players, even our "best" players sometimes, in position to make a play, and they didn't do it. When they say winning is hard, this is what they mean. At some point, as a player, you have to stop being a fucking loser. Who cares if it wasn't the perfect play call, who cares if you had played 100 snaps? If winning was easy, everyone would be able to do it. Make a play(s), win the game. It is as simple as that.
  2. Clearly someone has been to Franklin's
  3. I was wondering how long until they blamed it on the Ukrainians or MI6
  4. Man setting himself on fire after saying I don't want to go to war.
  5. Allegedly the shooting of the draft officer
  6. More like you are in the middle of raping Sela Ward with your tiny dick 20% of the way in while screaming to the world that it's okay y'all are married and sound the same when you talk. You also stole her washing machine.
  7. Exactly. Additionally, I have a feeling a good chunk of the draftees, maybe 50-100k, are destined to become truck drivers and loading/unloading grunts with the trucks being cannibalized from civilian use.
  8. Yup or ever. Fleet Carriers aren't allowed through the Bosporus period, at any time. In peace time, we could send an LHA or similar but as other have pointed out there is no real point.
  9. This feel different today imo, especially paired with the new mobilization/marital law. I skimmed an English version of the new laws, my take was more in line with being able to keep the troops already in Ukraine there indefinitely via limiting the ability for refusals and forcing extensions on the guys with expiring short term contracts. Additionally, if they annex the occupied territories I guess technically they can send in conscripts. It's going to be interesting how this pays out domestically for Putin. The first part I don't think will be an issue but sending conscripts regardless if it's legal or not seems like a touchy subject.
  10. Very heavily modded t-55s
  11. Not when the data set is 1.
  12. Imagine that? When the offense is productive the defense gets to rest and the dynamics of the game tilt in their favor.
  13. Which was a total fuck up of a call. The ball was thrown while the guy was still out of bounds. He was maybe in-bounds for half a second before the ball got there… that is not “RE-establishing.”
  14. We just beat a team by 21 points with our backup quarterback, who, as has been pointed out, has the anticipation of Helen Keller, the week after the program’s biggest game in at least 3-years. UTSA broke out all the stops and this team didn’t fold. They in fact responded by bitch slapping UTSA in the second half. It was a solid win, given the circumstances. Card just has to see it before he throws and once he sees it, he still holds it for a tick. Every throw even the solid completions down field, which there are few, are late. That’s the difference in a combine quarterback and real player, anticipation.
  15. Related won’t go spec on the Hyatt site. If they don’t prelease a lead tenant the group that owns the dirt will pivot to multi-family. Related also purchases the ground lease at 3rd and Congress/Colorado. Ritz-Carlton isn’t happening. That information is dated by more than year, I believe.
  16. Also part of switching to NATO standard equipment.
  17. Fuck Putin right in the bellybutton
  18. Just in from Navel News: "For the past few weeks, they [Kilo Subs] have been concentrated at Novorossiysk, another naval base much further from Ukraine"
  19. CTSO's self defense clause one higher than NATO - advantage aggy
  20. Agree with all of what y'all said. The massive public intelligence dump, and not just sharing with allied and/or other governments but putting that shit on blast in world wide media by the US, UK & others made a massive difference in torpedoing Putin's plans before this shit even started. Add to that Russians lying through their teeth for the world see. Putin got away with 2014 because the world wasn't looking and it was over before the world could react. He took that as the West not having the will, cohesion, and mindset to give a shit about Ukraine. I'm damn proud of the West's response.
