Rotating DH. Its not that difficult. We're gonna trade Paredes and Correa is going to pull his hamstring standing for the National Anthem on Opening Day.
The infield is not crowded because the injury bug will inevitably hit. To think they we are going to have to squeeze Paredes into the lineup somewhere day in and day out is hilarious considering one of our current players can't even get a massage without breaking a bone.
A few months ago it was a glorious Fall day on a Friday morning.. the first day that it wasn't 100 degrees, so like 83 but a beautiful day. On the way to the grocery store, I pass by a Gamestop. There's a line out the door and it's wrapped around the building. It was all dudes in their 20's waiting to buy some Japanese anime sorcery bullshit. In the line outside, I counted 7 umbrellas. So these dudes in their 20's were holding umbrellas on a perfect day to shield themselves from the sun. I couldn't help but feel bad for them and humanity.
Sorry if it was any of you guys in that line FWIW, but get a life
The radio guys the other day were talking about Paredes being traded instead of Walker because we could actually get something for Paredes. But they said it was because the lineup just can't fit all of these guys and it just doesn't work. I'm curious if they even watched any of the games last season and if they are aware we had 28 guys hit the IR. Assuming everyone is healthy at the same time (lulz) Isaac, Correa, Yordan, and 'Tuve can all rotate at the DH to make it work.... and they'll have to do this for like 5 minutes until someone inevitably gets injured again.
I fully expected a response like this so no worries (it's surly) And I have followed this thread and have pulled up chatgpt to see what countries are still buying Russian energy. It's still there, notably China and India. I don't think the actions taken against these countries is aggressive enough, and I don't think the aid given to Ukraine by all countries is substantial. I think this war could be over quickly, but the world isn't allowing it to happen for whatever reason.
I cannot help but think this war is being drug out for a reason. Ukraine doesn't get everything it needs; weapons are trickled to them at just the perfect rate to keep things in gridlock. Also, nothing is being done to stop other countries from buying Russian oil and gas. China and India are funding this and they seem to have little or no disincentive. Those that are more informed and follow more closely can maybe elaborate on this.
I hate this song more than any song ever. Christmas or otherwise. Its so bad that I've considered hating everything Paul McCartney has ever been apart of.
I read the whole thing; it wasn't too long. That was the best thing I've heard all day. Thank you for sharing and congratulations! Being a graduate of the University of Texas is one hell of an achievement.
