Energy Transition
Yes this cure is going to be much, much worse than the disease. All the batteries and windmills we are going to make are going to be a boondoggle. Can't find the link but I read where an experimental Fusion thingy was coming on line in 2023 I think due to use of superconducters in the magnetic field that contains the reaction, and this innovation was going to create a 10x (makes 10 more energy that the magnets & etc. use) reactor, albeit a smallish experimental one. If that shit works I'm certainly more hopeful.

It's never the same explanation, but go peruse the names in those classes. Other posters on other threads have posted the attrition. I don't know how we compare to other schools but there are massive holes (and lots of busts) all through these classes.

Tom Herman Fired as UT Football Coach
I can totally see a Herman team beating Arkansas on the road. And then losing to the shittiest TCU team he's faced. I cannot, under any circumstances, see a Herman team score 70 on Tech or anybody. Not that it matters, at all.

The new retail model?
I don't go in a big box store without Amazon price checking shit on my phone. That said fuck them both just in case. I do pickup for larger Home Depot things on the reg and haven't noticed a difference there... One thing I have def noticed Walmart doing is a terrific job gaming any obscure item Google result. It won't be in stock, ever (I'm talking obscure motorcycle parts showing up on a Walmart site), but there will be a Walmart page for it.

This is who Steve Sarkisian is.
I'm going with B for the 3rd down conversion and 6.7 avg. Unless this is a trick question, then I'm going with fuck whichever one is OU.

Circle C - Lawns Aren't / Are Taken Seriously
To be fair, maybe they'll mow it even if you do shoot at them (after they shoot you back), provided you don't also burn your house down.

What did you think our record would be right now?
Same, plus I didn't think Baylor would not suck.

Hey PK -- What would you say you do here?
I've been thinking for a long time there is a disconnect between PK's overall scheme and the coaching of the safeties. I haven't looked at any stats but that position hasn't seemed to be very productive. I doubt our DC is thrilled with the position coaching he is getting...
