  1. That’s objectively true. The Epstein class needs a distraction and the MIC needs a war. Israel needs a new target with Gaza and Hamas finished. Iran so far away.
  2. The fact that Europe is doing more than the DOJ on Epstein should be deeply shameful, but nothing is shameful anymore.
  3. Where numbers? There! I do find it kind of sad how BLS has zero inherent credibility now, every report of theirs is evaluated with how much imputation and what assumptions are made because they have lost a lot of staff. Don’t like the shitty numbers? Impute some.
  4. Haha the monthly report is interesting but the benchmarking for last year is a lot more significant in that nearly 900k phantom jobs are gone. So 130k which is likely to be revised anyway is pretty meaningless. A total of 180k jobs added all of 2025 makes the previous years look pretty pretty good.
  5. Why change what has worked for you? Seems like you’re doing fine with the approach you’ve taken. I play with a small account to remind myself I’m terrible at this shit. My regular investments have far outperformed these silly stonks. No surprise there.
  6. The Wally trade never fails!
  7. They had to close because the second amendment is woke as fuck.
  8. I thought the administration's stated goal was to drive home prices higher. This is consistent with that goal.
  9. FBAR. Google it. A family just got fined 3.6 million for improper reporting and Uncle Sam can take 50 percent as a penalty if you don’t report…
  10. Nice! I made a tidy profit but sold a little too early at mid 13s. The dividend is pretty risky with Lula but the fundamentals on PBR are solid.
  11. who could have foreseen that destabilizing behavior leads to risk aversion???
  12. My wife, the most non-economy minded person in my universe, asked me this morning about moving money to outside the US. I had to do a double take, then explain that the US has specific controls in place to prevent this action in the form of required reporting for any sum over 10k in a foreign held account. I suspect there are a lot of people trying to figure out ways to adapt to the current debasement of our currency - obviously there's gold or other hard assets, and some people like crypto, but that's not for me. I see the reality sinking in to people that the US dollar is very quickly heading from safe store of value to a highly risky currency right now.
  13. I’m laughing at my lack of fortitude. Sold and got off the train. ARSMF my only stonk now and it’s a roller coaster.
  14. This is really not cool as I’m trying to retire right now and am a little concerned about triggering big transactions while we’re on the precipice. Fucking hell.
  15. Small gubmint for the win. Will have significant knock on effects if it actually becomes law. I think it’s a state level decision though?
