Between me and a few friends we have probably bought 100+ bottles from WineBid. I can only recall just a couple being cooked or corked. Other than those we have had pretty good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
With WineBid it’s impossible to know the provenance of the wine. I’m mainly after certain wines and willing to roll the dice to an extent. Most of my older more expensive bottles come from another source that guarantees the provenance on the bottles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry to hear about your fire. My experience with WineBid is hit and miss. I’m the same as you I would rather buy aged vino and drink now versus watching it take a nap for what seems like forever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Spottswoode is one of my favorite Cali cabs. The 07 was drinking really well after popping and decanting for a bit. Really youthful and will only get better with age. We go thru quite a bit of Ruinart BdB and Rose! If you like rose bubbles I would highly suggest Henriot.
I’m in the same boat and have two separate access points on either end of the house. It’s ridiculous having to switch back and forth but it’s what I made work for all these years. With the wife and kiddos home all day it seems the wireless is getting bogged down even more. Would a mesh system help out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He is a one man show. He should get back to you soon. Let me know if you don’t hear back and I’ll dig up his number for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wanted to pass this along. If you are looking for a moderately priced Oregon wine that is delicious, I highly recommend contacting my friend Vincent. Free shipping if you buy at least 6 bottles.
