Good discussion today on Ketch's noon OB show about his updated super-blue chip roster rankings in CFB: Notable things they talked about is how: How UGA has fallen off from where they were just 2 seasons ago & UT has caught up to them. OU nowhere to be found in the top 10. Aggy isn't stacking talent like they used under Jimbo. https://twitter.com/i/status/2020834790908498263
Looks like Texas Sports Unfiltered ended last week: I never understood how this TSU, basically Austin sports radio station-style livestreams, was a thing when the UT fanbase just consumed the YouTube content/podcasts from the UT 9.95ers.
https://x.com/InsideTexas/status/2017013411326906560He just committed to UT according to an IT article that was published less than 20 minutes ago. Is someone gonna make a thread for him?
https://x.com/mzenitz/status/2016654129586729449Looking at at his LinkedIn, Garrett Cox has been a long-time defensive analyst in the Saban Cover 7 defense coaching tree at multiple stops. UT under Muschamp will be his 4th stop. Before his 1st stop at Bama, he was also a defensive analyst for 2 seasons at Wisconsin under Dave Aranda. With that much experience, you gotta wonder why's he never gotten a position coach job.
LOL, I read it & I don't disagree with anything Ketch said in the article. But he isn't saying anything that we haven't already been regularly discussing in the sub forum for the last several weeks: pro & cons of recruiting H.S. OL vs grabbing portal OL.
So in hindsight after seeing how this new portal cycle played out, UT paying big money for an OOS incoming Frosh RB who is only considered a low 4-star outside the national top 200 recruit according to Rivals' final rankings is a decision that they would like back?
