  1. The post count
  2. I thought Grand Cayman was OK. It's clean, there are some good restaurants there, and it's English friendly. What it doesn't have is local history to a large extent. It's a very tame vacation with nice beaches, made better if you are a diver. I tend to like a little more adventure in my vacations, so I wouldn't go back. It's perfect, however, for my wife. For me, I left there thinking that I could go to quite a few beaches in Mexico that are just as pretty and cost substantially less. Just my 2 cents
  3. Nice work, Uncle Red
  4. This one always struck me as gold (can't remember who said it): "Teddy Lehman is so fast he outran his own melanin"
  5. I generally like it when you chime in. But when you do, there’s always a caveat. The real world of “douche”, so to speak.
  6. For a bunch of people that revel in accusing people of being “triggered snowflakes”, this sure reeks of that. Give me Texas garage entrepreneurs any day of the week over these prick opportunists. And yes, I own a lot of guns.
  7. Priest and D'Onta came into their own a little later in their careers here. Charles, Benson, Ricky all showed out as true freshmen. I think we will know what we have with Ingram after this season, but that won't necessarily shut the door on Carter or Young. I never would have guessed that D'Onta would end up doing what he did.
  8. From watching him as a prospect in person, this is where I come out. And not alone in that amongst Clemens observers. For right now, I’m glad we passed. He might be the next best thing, but it’s no slam dunk. We already took Eagles, who may be in the same mold
  9. It's a Vic Mackey playground over there
  10. No wonder that dog is so fucking neurotic
  11. That’s as fine a tribute as I’ve seen on any message board. It’s all great stuff, but when you got to the part about how he married your grandmother with three kids in the mix, well, it takes a very special man. Blessings to you and yours.
  12. Arnold as a youngster. The A-train. Pardner. Arnistopholes. Arn-hold. And sometimes, like the night before last when he jumped on my balls because lightning makes him nervous, Asshole.

Q: What do you call a Jamaican proctologist? A: Pokemon (better in a Jamaican accent)

One night I was eating dinner at Bohanans with my ex-wife. I started noticing a few burly dudes around the bar area who were wearing suits and earpieces, so I leaned over and told her, "There's about to be somebody important up in here." Sure enough, a couple of minutes later Vicente Fox walked out of the elevator. My ex is latina and she sorta had a thing for him, so she was giving him the hard stare and smiling at him. He handled it perfectly - he noticed her and then looked directly at me, walked up to our table and shook my hand. Then he shook hers too. He was pretty slick about the whole thing. Strange, but I've also met Ernesto Zedillo. I haven't ever met an American President.
