Imagine having a system where you didn't have to do this in order to not go bankrupt from an emergency.
There's an NPR story every month (maybe week?) where they go over some ridiculous hospital bill. The latest one was a 3 year old shoved a pair of Polly Pocket shoes up her nose and the Urgent Care the parents went to didn't have long enough forceps. They had to go to the emergency room and got hit with a 2000 dollar bill for something that took less than a minute to remove.
My jaw dropped when I saw how long it had been since UVA won. I know VT has dominated the rivalry, but there's no way I would have guessed it's been 15 years since their last win. Some salty VT fan pointed out that the last time UVA won Facebook and Twitter weren't even around.
This did piss me off, I wasn't expecting him for calling for it's abolishment but was hoping he'd have stronger words. That said, I don't think any major candidate has said they'd abolish ICE.
The purposefully stupid "I'm just here to check the water pressure" bit landed hard because my poor grandparents fell for something like that a long time ago and had a few things stolen from their house.
Really really enjoyed that episode. Poopybutthole being upset he lost his job at the end made me laugh hard simply because they didn't follow up on Morty losing his passion.
"It's just too hard, it'd ruin pharmaceutical research, it'd bankrupt hospitals, doctors will stop practicing, no one really supports it." <-- People who voted for Reagan twice and HW who ushured in massive deregulation that lead to the problems we're facing today.
Bernie had an awesome rally at Morehouse, but I didn't get a good shot of how big the audience was. Hope like hell he can turnout some serious numbers with young people in the primary in my here.
I've seen a lot of tweets suggesting his team is doing amazing work on the ground in Iowa and it's not reflected at all in the polling, the very first primary will tell us exactly how he'll do. I can't make it, but he's having a rally at Morehouse tomorrow since the debate is here in Atlanta. Going to be very curious to see how many people show up to his vs. Warren's at Spelman.
