Realignment talk not going away
Big 10 has crushed everybody else in media revenue. We are the king of B12 $$$, but we make essentially the same as Northwestern. I wonder (1) whether their revenue model is sustainable at that level as the media landscape changes, (2) whether it is an opportunity unique to their geography or possibly can be exported, (3) whether we (alone, as a small group, as a major alignment) have a future with them, (4) whether they might try to expand into pac turf, and (5) if the big "12" falls far enough behind the "10" (especially if OU looks around), we would ever look at the ND model.

Urban Meyer and all of Ohio suck.
Yeah the recruiting calendar drove him out of coaching. Because the calendar was hanging on the wall of Zachās office next to pile of boxes of sex toys.

Alabama Football - Now Featuring Kalen DeBoer
Recovery is faster after anterior supine surgery like Saban had, but return to work at day 2 after surgery is still extraordinary. That man is driven.

2019 Longhorns Countdown to Kickoff
The holder on that play is an orthopedic surgeon in Frisco now. He and the Cotton Bowl trophy are both named for his grandfather.

S&P+ rankings: Overperformance or overcorrection?
Texas as dogs in most of our games? OK cool Hookāem

Art Briles: New Head Coach of Mount Vernon High School in Texas
Wait. Is the implication that we need to keep Mt Vernon down? Because Baylor isnāt hiring Briles; MtV is. Landomatic said it. Politics/religion discussion is verboten here for good reason.

Kansas is Hopeless...
Is it just remotely possible that failure of the front 7 at KU might factor just a little into the runaway safety ratings there?

Texas Recruiting Notes 2020
Yes, apostropes. From the Greek αĻĪæ meaning āfromā or āawayā and ĻĻĻĪæĻε meaning ācrap, a typo.ā

Texas Recruiting Notes 2021
Most likely out at least part of it-- all would not surprise. My guess is not released to full contact until October at the earliest.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2021
1. This injury is unlikely to affect his ability to play OT in 2021 2. Hopefully however it opens his eyes to the value of a Texas education over the alternatives, God forbid some other injury should limit his FB career

Baylor Rape Talk Not Going Away
No supraorbital component to smile. Needs more orange slices.

It appears Clemson players have been juicing like hell
Itās loyal, family-oriented, small-town juicing, though. Not like the trap-door, grind, Bama style.

Baylor Rape Talk Not Going Away
Iād swap Baylor for Riyadh Techās Yemen Research Campus. Rice is considerably more desireable.

2019 Texas Football Season - "#8 Go Fuck Yourself Bitch"
Depends on whether we use a mechanical ball launcher for a QB and the other team fields a defense.

Deandre Francois booted from FSU team for domestic violence
Heās just misunderstood several people, including that girl when she didnāt enunciate, ānoā well.

Jimbo 2020: Strangers with Candi
If aggy gets desperate enough, I could see them Hance/Leaching olā Jimbo out of some of that money. If otherwise harmless West Texans will do it, aggy is certainly capable.

Tell me about the University of Southern California
We need USC to show some signs of life early. Nothing great, just a pulse. Last thing we need is for Urbs to get hired in time to try to salvage their 2020 recruiting class, especially at the expense of our own.

The Big 10 Likes Sex Abuse: Next Up - Ohio State
Iām sure Herbie, as trusted QB, captain, and senior-year MVP heard not a whisper about this during his years there.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2020
Iām in favor of this over cheating, definitely. Prior to the William Singer investigation, Iād have thought the risk of material consequences quite low. They may still be. Iām against cheating, even if everyone else cheats. Even if most people think it shouldnāt be called cheating.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2020
Of course, maybe we should not try to think creatively about solutions to recruitsā being illegally recruited out of our backyard. The two best choices are probably just to ignore the problem or to join in the lawbreaking, counting on enforcementās being unlikely and beatable. After all, in this information age, what are the odds that law enforcement would notice or be able to do anything about the sudden proliferation of inexplicably well-heeled athletes at Texas?

Texas Recruiting Notes 2020
My reply was not intended to indicate that the principle thrust of the strategy should be offering the fbi evidence of unreported transactions. Surely the potential blowback onto recruits and their families suggests the power lying latent. Can it be harnessed? Not by joining the cheating; perhaps by other means yes.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2020
I think the ideal would be a pissed off TCU or Tech grad to take the focus off us, but I can live with UT. Recently former Texas employee Michael Center says that the feds occasionally do notice the money flowing around athletics.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2020
No. Iām all for threatening and turning in bagmen, though. There is a lot that can be done if one does not argue against it by straw man or complex question.
