  1. Miami should cancel that game next year if ND ends up ahead of them.
  2. this has likely already been discussed, but here is what i am hoping for on the offensive side of the ball from the portal this year: 2-3 B to B+ interior offensive lineman 1 A+ stud wide receiver 1 B to B+ running back How likely is something along these lines?
  3. here is my predection for tonight: 1. Ohio State (12-0) 2. Indiana (12-0) 3. Georgia (11-1) 4. Texas Tech (11-1) 5. Oregon (11-1) 6. Texas A&M (11-1) 7. Ole Miss (11-1) 8. Notre Dame (10-2) 9. Oklahoma (10-2) 10. Alabama (10-2) 11. BYU (11-1) 12. Miami (10-2) 13. Texas (9-3) 14. Utah (10-2) 15. Vanderbilt (10-2) I'd love to be wrong, but I don't see this committee doing anything earth shattering
  4. i'll take either that Gator Bowl (6:30pm on Sat 12/27) against Miami or the Citrus Bowl against Michigan/USC. The Gator Bowl against an ACC team that isn't Miami is a big no from me.
  5. This is where I am. No reason to drop home games with tOSU and Michigan the next two years, but I'd get out of the Notre Dame series (and possibly the Arizona State series as well) if Texas is ultimately left out. Replace them with teams like Boston College and Purdue. It sucks, but until it is shown that something other than your total # of losses matters, no reason to risk losing games out of conference anymore. Win out in the non-conference portion of the schedule and then go 7-2 or better in conference. That's the formula moving forward.
  6. we have one fewer quality wins at that point and still the same # of losses. we'd still be out. it's beyond clear that all that really matters moving forward is the number in the loss column.
  7. just who exactly do you think that is?
  8. i took a 2 week break from the football board after the georgia game and two of the first three threads i click on are this dumbassery and the Arch thread to find that the Quinn vs Arch debate is still going at full throttle. i don't know why i expected anything better.

will definitely be remembered as a Longhorn legend in the aggy game for years to come. dude was a complete badass last night and was a very good player for us all season long.
  10. by far the best Amen Thompson game of the season. Love to see it with KD out. Phoenix isn't terrible and the Rockets controlled that game from beginning to end without Sengun and Sheppard playing all that well offensively. Let's whip some Warrior ass next.
  11. OMG what an orgasmic first half from Reed Sheppard. 20 points on 8/11 shooting in only 15 minutes + the sick no look pass to Amen Thompson. 100% the reason the Rockets got back in the game and lead at the half.
  12. i absolutely adore this scene

now, full disclosure, most of my experience is putting babies in women.
  14. @Bozo_Casanova's post may be in jest, but like @Darth Tron i had a dream about this game last night too. we broke off a couple of long runs. CJ Baxter had a 60 yard rush deep into GA territory that we ended up fucking up and coming away with 0 points. BUT, we were up 17-0 in the second half when I woke up.
  15. pretty damn close 1 Ohio State 9-0 2 Texas A&M 9-0 -1 3 Indiana 10-0 1 4 Alabama 8-1 5 Georgia 8-1 6 Ole Miss 9-1 -1 7 Texas Tech 9-1 1 8 Oregon 8-1 9 Notre Dame 7-2 10 Texas 7-2 11 Oklahoma 7-2 12 BYU 8-1 13 Utah 7-2 14 Vanderbilt 8-2 15 Georgia Tech 8-1 -1 16 Miami 7-2 1 17 USC 7-2 18 Michigan 7-2 19 Virginia 8-2 20 Louisville 7-2 21 Pitt 7-2 -1 22 Tennessee 6-3 -1 23 SMU 7-3 NR 24 Iowa 6-3 -3 25 Missouri 6-3 NR

yeah there are defintiely some early season episodes where i just think, "damn she is so hot."
  17. Google would be such the hero here if they would just raise their prices!
  18. Sark said they all practiced today and sounds like they're all good.
  19. this board, and most of the fanbase at large, has been in full bitch mode for about 2 months now.
  20. #11 (and rising) Texas comes off a well needed bye week with their playoff hopes still alive. My guess is that come Tuesday, Texas will be in the projected playoff field. Hopefully we get good injury updates on guys like Michael Taaffe, Ryan Wingo, Jelani McDonald, and others from Coach Sark today. Now the fun part of the season begins - Saturday night under the lights in Athens against #5 Georgia. 6:30 on ABC.
  21. my god Sengun cooking Giannis right there was fucking sweet.
  22. here is my guess for Tuesday's rankings: 1 Ohio State 9-0 2 Texas A&M 9-0 3 Indiana 10-0 4 Alabama 8-1 5 Georgia 8-1 6 Ole Miss 9-1 7 Texas Tech 9-1 8 Oregon 8-1 9 Notre Dame 7-2 10 Texas 7-2 11 Oklahoma 7-2 12 BYU 8-1 13 Utah 7-2 14 Vanderbilt 8-2 15 Georgia Tech 8-1 16 Miami 7-2 17 USC 7-2 18 Michigan 7-2 19 Virginia 8-2 20 Louisville 7-2 21 Pitt 7-2 22 Tennessee 6-3 23 SMU 7-3 24 Iowa 6-3 25 Missouri 6-3 22-25 are whatever, but i bet i'm pretty close on 1-21.
  23. unbelieve how stupid some people on this site are.
