This is what the Boston Globe found when they investigated:
If there's evidence she profited from it, I'd like to see it and she should be burned for it. I just haven't seen any.
She made a mistake. It happens. She's trying to correct it now. Will it be too late? Who knows.
She just sent out this email:
Personally, that's what I want to hear. Like I said earlier, I'm tired of this side/that side shit or the 'we're all doomed' crowd (present company excluded). I want some ideas to make us better (MUB), and I think she has some good ones.
I agree. This was the mistake. There was no need for it. That's not how you stand up to him.
I think she's making positive headway with this apology tour though.
IMO, she's being proactive. She apologized to the Cherokee nation the other day. Now she's coming forward with everything that can be thrown at her over this. Did anyone know about the bar card before she brought it forward? She'll probably be on 60 Minutes or something and will take and have to answer questions on it.
I'm not married to the idea of her being president or anything, but she strikes me as an idea person. Personally, I don't care which party has the best candidate but I'm tired of the fear mongering. Come up with some positive ideas to get us moving in the right direction.
I grew up on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation and nearly every white kid that did was told they have some Native American in their woodpile. My grandmother was part Native American (I honestly have no idea how much) and we were told this from a very early age. It still comes up at family events when my grandma is brought up. I feel bad for Warren in a way because if you're proud of your family heritage and the stories you are told, it's very easy to get caught up in retelling these stories. I think labeling herself as she did was her way of showing pride in her family. That's not to say what she did on her bar card isn't wrong. I understand how it happens though, and I don't think it makes her 'slightly nutty' or a 'liar' on the scale of what we're currently witnessing.
That's fair. I saw 6 weeks on Twitter earlier. It doesn't sound like a difficult surgery to recover from.
Any word on Oxlade-Chambo? I thought I heard he could be back on the bench for United or Bayern. That's just a few weeks away.
Luis Alberto takes that prize. Was never a good fit. 12 appearances, 0 goals and 1 assist.
Lazar was a disappointment but he scored a game winner at Sunderland (I believe) that was a fantastic goal. I had high hopes for him. Saw him play in Chicago in 2014. He was quick and had some strength on the ball, but he just fell off. Rumors were he was homesick, etc. He doesn't seem like a bad guy. He was red carded in a CL game in 2014 that was one of the worst red cards you'll ever see too.
I don't think Hendo played well but I don't think he's why we didn't win.
Hopefully this is a wake-up call. West Ham has been leaking goals lately. Hoping we get back on track.
