  1. Thibs inserting a hobbled KAT with 3 minutes to go down 20 is peak Thibs.
  2. Without a Gobert to anchor the defense, soft KAT is way overexposed. It's happening again after this happened on Friday: https://x.com/TommyBeer/status/1893309070141984846 https://x.com/JordanZirm/status/1893383169551860033
  3. And it's Celtics 38 Knicks 19 at the end of 1.
  4. Denver's 9 game win streak consisted of: at Philly at Charlotte NOLA NOLA Orlando at Phoenix Portland Portland Charlotte The minute they play a halfway decent team they get spanked. Denver may be a tough out in the playoffs but certainly not a threat to get to the Finals.
  5. Really good article by Jason Lloyd of the Athletic explaining how the Cavs window of opportunity is 3 years...and then things get complicated.
  6. Alex Len to the Lakers. Shams Charania @ShamsCharania Free agent 7-footer Alex Len will sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, agent Mike Lelchitski tells ESPN. Len intended to sign with the Pacers but has decided to land in LA after the Lakers rescinded the Mark Williams trade and created new opportunity.

  8. But I've been reliably informed that Masai Ujuri is some kind of sooper genius.
  9. Unbelievable. Or rather, totally believable and expected. Underdog NBA @Underdog__NBA 2m Shams: Anthony Davis (adductor) expected to miss multiple weeks; could miss around a month.
  10. Shams Charania @ShamsCharania 2m Mark Williams' physical with the Lakers showed multiple issues and the team failed him on the exam, sources tell ESPN. The physical was not failed due to his back, however.
  11. Bobby Marks @BobbyMarks42 The trade was conditional on Mark Williams and Dalton Knecht reporting and passing a physical. Because the deadline has passed, the trade was not allowed to be amended. Williams goes back to Charlotte Knecht/Cam Reddish to LAL The draft conditions: 2030 swap and 2031 unprotected first are voided. 8:11 PM · Feb 8, 2025
  12. That kind of fucks over the Lakers, who are now without a real center. Williams on that team would've made them really, really interesting in the playoffs.
  13. @Underdog__NBA 36m Shams: Ben Simmons to sign with the Clippers.
  14. Chris Haynes @ChrisBHaynes Newly bought-out Ben Simmons will meet with the Clippers, Cavaliers and Rockets today, league sources tell me. 9:28 AM · Feb 7, 2025 · 105.4K Views
  15. 42-17-8 at age 40 is insane for the GOAT. Lukas gonna extend LeBrons career another five years.
  16. Keerthika Uthayakumar @keerthikau 2h Orlando didn't make a trade this season. Some of their league ranks: - 30th in points, 29th in offensive rating - 30th in 3P%, 30th in eFG% - 27th in FGA, 29th in pace
  17. The bolded part below is huge - and we finally got ourselves a legit wing. The Hawks and Cavaliers have reached an agreement on a trade that will send forward De’Andre Hunter to Cleveland, according to Shams Charania of ESPN, who reports (via Twitter) that Atlanta will acquire Caris LeVert, Georges Niang, three second-round picks, and two pick swaps. Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com confirms Charania’s report (via Twitter), adding that the Cavaliers are looking to include a third team in the deal as well. As cap expert Yossi Gozlan tweets, the Cavs will move out of the luxury tax as a result of the trade and will now be about $1.5MM below the tax line. They will have two open roster spots once the deal is official (they’ve only been carrying 14 players on their standard roster) and will eligible to sign any player on the buyout market.
  18. Brian Windhorst @WindhorstESPN · 47m The Heat’s Jimmy Butler has communicated to the Warriors that he’s unwilling to sign an extension there & therefore trade talks to send him to Golden State have ended for now, sources told ESPN.
  19. Did Atlanta really give up 2 unprotected firsts and a pick swap for Dejounte Murray? If we're ranking the worst trades over the last few years, that's gotta be near the top. Wtf were they thinking.
  20. Bobby Marks @BobbyMarks42 Here are the first round picks that San Antonio has remaining: Own: 6 of their next 7 Two unprotected from Atlanta (2025 and 2027) Swap rights: Atlanta (2026) Swap rights: Boston (2028, top-1 protected) Swap rights: More favorable of Dallas and Minnesota (top-1 protected) (2030) Swap rights: Sacramento (2031) 8:01 PM · Feb 2, 2025 · 60.8K Views
  21. The playoff bouts among the Rockets, Spurs, Thunder, and the Luka Lakers should be something special over the next 5 years or so.
  22. Spurs rotation goes something like this Fox Wemby KJ Sochan Vassel Castle CP3 Chapaigne That looks to me like a top 6 seed.
  23. Actually more like 2 first round picks - Bobby Marks @BobbyMarks42 Sources confirm Sacramento is receiving Zach LaVine, three firsts and three seconds in the De’Aaron Fox trade: To Sacramento - 2027 unprotected San Antonio 1st - 2031 unprotected Minnesota 1st - 2025 top-14 protected Charlotte 1st Note: This first conveyed into a second in 2026 and 2027 - 2025 Chicago second (via SAS) - 2028 Denver second - 2028 Sacramento second (their own back) To Chicago - Their own 2025 first (from San Antonio) 7:42 PM · Feb 2, 2025 · 67.7K Views
