Texas Recruiting Notes 2022 - Idiotic Slapfights Unrelated To 2022 Recruiting
I’ll accept losing quality tight ends if it means we start actually landing the elite WR’s in state

Sark after dark COACHING STAFF thread
UT canceled fan attendance tonight so I doubt they introduce him to the crowd

Urban Meyer or bust
P Terry’s is cheap so that’s nice. Better than In and Out in every way, but Whataburger is supreme

Urban Meyer or bust
I’m not hopping off the Urban train. Mainly because my source has indicated that if the Urban deal doesn’t get done, Tom will be back. He also indicated that CDC’s seat is gonna get hot if this doesn’t happen. I don’t see this saga ending for a few weeks

Urban Meyer or bust
Anyone know when the team normally flies to road games? I’m wondering if they’ve left for Manhattan yet

Urban Meyer or bust
Haven’t read the thread today. Are we happy or sad right now and why?

Urban Meyer or bust
Wouldn’t call him stupid but he sure is arrogant. It’s a common theme amongst people with that much money

Urban Meyer or bust
To piggy back on CTJ, even if urban is in play, I see botching it
-
Urban Meyer or bust
Take it fwiw, but the only BMD I have the slightest connection to doesn’t want Urban because he believes he’s a scumbag. The dude was also calling for CDC’s job after OU so I assume he’s an OB guy. I don’t know his stance as of now.

Cristobol probably fits your description

Texas Basketball Recruiting Notes: Shaka Edition
I have a friend who’s pretty tapped into Austin basketball. Last off-season he was saying Brock needed to play more for us. I had no clue because I only really look at rankings. My same friend doesn’t think KJ is very good.

Tell Me About Texas a&m
It’s circulating on twitter that A&M will add games vs. UF and at Tennessee if the 10 game schedule is approved.

Texas AD Chris Del Conte
Not trying to derail but UT has some excellent COVID resources. If you get tested + at Dell Med, they call and test everyone you’ve been with in the last week. On top of that, roughly half of students are still living/partying in west campus, so the high case number isn’t a shocker.

College Football in 2020 in danger?
It’ll be interesting to see if an out break on 1 team constitutes a canceled season. The MLB plays games at a rapid fire pace but CFB looks to be spacing games out to accommodate this exact situation. I still think the biggest hold up will be the willingness of colleges to play with no fans.

College Football in 2020 in danger?
I have hope that they can play, but any thought of fans at games is a joke. If AD’s refuse to play in front of open seats, there won’t be games in 2020.

DKR planning for 50% capacity for the fall
UT has been allowing students to purchase tickets but didn’t include students on this email. Classic

Texas Recruiting Notes 2021
When I said no citations I mainly meant alcohol/weed related. These days you could be passed out in a bush and if they saw you, they’d just help you back to your dorm. Kinda crazy that some students would prefer APD handling the campus

Texas Recruiting Notes 2021
Sorry to derail. If y’all thought the players asked for a lot, you should’ve seen the general student body’s petition. It was about 3 times as long and included everything the players asked for. It asked for UTPD to be abolished (you know, the guys who don’t give out any citations but are just there to provide safety). UTPD doesn’t even stop kids for underage drinking or open containers. And it asked to get rid of standardized testing, which is outrageous for reasons already mentioned.

2020 Texas Offseason Thread: Herman's Hail Mary
Well we should at least be able to field 11 players that already have antibodies by week 1.

OU WR Jadon Haselwood has a torn ACL per their 247 board. May or may not miss the season depending on when it happens

2020 PF Greg Brown
Greg’s more of a wing than a big man. He’ll be 1 and done but won’t be minima contributor like our last few 5 star centers

2020 Texas Offseason Thread: Herman's Hail Mary
From a current student: Spring break (this week) got extended an extra week, so at the earliest that spring ball could start is March 30th. Everything else is speculation, but teachers have been telling students to prepare for campus to be closed for the remainder of the semester and for classes to be moved online. This all came before yesterday. For those that don’t know, Fenves’ wife tested positive COVID yesterday, meaning that multiple UT staffers will have it. TLDR, no one knows what the future holds, but it would not be a shock to see spring ball get outright cancled
