I'm most excited for 3 years of announcers letting us know that Simmons and January were highschool teammates every time one of them makes a play.

Got a csb about Michael I thought I’d share.
 

We came to the Baylor game in 2008. Got tickets through the football office and as we were going to will call to pick them up there was Michael. I went up to him and asked if he were Mike January as I recognized him. He said “Yes but it’s Michael.” Well in 1986 we called him Mike. So I said something like “You probably don’t remember me, but I was a walk on defensive back during your senior year in 1986. My name is JW.”

He looked me over, “You know I think I do remember you.” We talked a little bit about where we were in life and I introduced Mrs JW.

He was probably just being gracious, but it was cool nonetheless.

Probably, but we will need photos of said wife in order to ascertain whether or not she's "scout worthy."
