I know there's other moms in this class that are more straight-up attractive, but Mrs. Parr's I-will-absolutely-fuck-you-up-if-it-comes-to-that vibe really really works for me.

Andrew Ellis, the Buckeyes mod on 247, thinks it’s probably Bijan. His CB is still foggy, will be telling if he changes it

That guy just finished his junior year in high school. By the time I looked that old I already had one ex wife.

Haha, wearing a Friends shirt ironically. I love Generation Z!

Ironically?  Young people watch the shit out of that show.

Apparently the coaches fed the players and recruits burgers right before the wing eating contest. Mensa moves.

I still remember the quietest, preppiest girl in my high school winning our hot dog eating contest. Every dude in the school was trying to figure out a not-creepy way to ask her out.

(Joe Cook) Heat Wave Takeaways: 2020 prospects

Poolside recruiting, a wing-eating contest won by Oscar Giles, and plenty of positive reviews of Texas’ Heat Wave – an opportunity to learn what it’s like in the Texas football program outside of actual football.

Princely Umanmielen, Manor (Manor, TX)

Umanmielen made another short trip to campus and enjoyed the visit. He told IT he spent time with some current Texas DL like Keondre Coburn and Peter Mpagi. He’s seen Texas (as well as other places) several times, so this was an opportunity to bond with the players and coaches in a non-football environment. Still plans to decide in the fall, but was excited to see his Manor teammate Tahj Brooks commit to Texas Tech.

Jalen Logan-Redding, Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO)

Trip No. 3 to Austin included the whole family, and Logan-Redding enjoyed it once again. Interacted with Tom Herman and Oscar Giles, and really enjoyed seeing coaches in a wing-eating contest (see Tweet below). He’ll trim his list of schools down in the near future and Texas should make that list.

Quentin Johnston, Temple (Temple, TX)

The Temple WR did end up making the trip to Austin with his father. He’s using summer visits to find programs with a family atmosphere, and to learn more about each school’s business program, which he wants to study in college. No update on his timeline, but he did note “It’s always good here.”

Alfred Collins, Cedar Creek (Bastrop, TX)

Told reporters the highlight of the trip from Bastrop with his mother was spending time with Herman and Giles. Like many other recruits, he’s looking for a family environment and a “place I’d want to stay for three years.” Said today he was up to 6-foot-5.5, 280 pounds, up from “240-something” last season.

Courtland Ford, Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX)

The Cedar Hill OT made the trip with several family members. Plans to make a return trip in July, and spoke with Herb Hand about development on and off the field. Recently de-committed from LSU.
