Roach retweeted an LVBS update. Texas certainly doesn’t feel like a leader, but he does have an OV scheduled for 12/13 which is his last scheduled visit before his announcement at the aab. May fit in USC somewhere and may take visits before sd2, but will commit 1/4. Contrary to recent board opinion, it doesn’t look like we’re out of it.

Blair Anguilo has an update on Fillinger and setting an OV date.

Spoiler

Van Fillinger is spearheading a Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon defense that aims to capture a second consecutive state crown and has been impressive throughout his senior season.

The four-star defensive lineman, who was recently selected for the 2020 Polynesian Bowl which is scheduled to be played Saturday, Jan. 18 under the lights at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii, has amassed over six tackles per game, including 23 for a loss, over the course of the season.

On the recruiting front, Fillinger remains locked in with Texas and tells 247Sports he has scheduled to officially visit campus the weekend of Dec. 14 ahead of the early signing period.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pound prospect plans to put ink to paper, then focus on competing at the All-American Bowl and Polynesian Bowl to kick off the new year.

Fillinger accumulated a loaded scholarship offer sheet before announcing his commitment to the Longhorns early in the summer. He is the nation's No. 283 overall prospect, No. 13 among strong-side defensive ends and No. 2 in the state of Utah for the 2020 class, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite rankings.

In terms of the Polynesian Bowl, Fillinger joined a loaded all-star roster which features fellow Texas commits Bijan Robinson and Prince Dorbah.

A high-motor defender who uses his hands well to shed blocks, Fillinger displays decent burst off the snap, maintains leverage through contact and generates a strong push up front. He is tenacious in pass-rush situations, with a good array of moves and refined technique, and is more than capable as a run stuffer who dissects plays well. Fillinger has the versatility to fit at several spots along the line and, although he could improve his overall quickness and gap discipline, has the upside to be a multi-year starter at the Power Five level and an All-Conference type performer.

Probably waiting to see what his grades look like. His fall semester should be nearly complete by his OV.

Stop being a pussy. You should learn from Courage Wolf in terms of workplace decorum.

I actually agree with your larger point, but still find it funny that your colleagues are totally fine with you browsing through tweets and videos of high school football players during work, but this is crossing the line.

I can't fathom having to work in an open-plan office and try to post on Surly from my desktop computer.  You should quit your current shitty job and get a big-boy position with an office and a door everything.

This made me laugh ... and note, he's talking about a possible official visit.

Perroni / Aggie 247: Quick note on Zachary Evans

Spoiler

I know there are reports that he will be officially visiting this weekend. I did some checking and one source close to him said it is still up in the air.

He had said he was planning to because somebody told him that A&M was playing USC this weekend. He has a teammate from last year that plays for the Trojans in DB Dorian Hewett. But when he realized that it meant South Carolina, he decided he might wait to use his official later.

This also shows you that kids don’t pay attention to every single game of all the schools recruiting them, so week in and week out is not as big a deal as some people think.

Well, at least not the games of schools they have no intention of committing to.

Well, in his defense, USCe is almost the same as USC, so aggy is almost playing somebody this weekend.

Isn't this their last home game of the season? I'm guessing that is probably better for aggy. It's bad enough having to spend a weekend in that shit town, watching a horrible football game in the cold with a 75% full stadium would be the end of aggy's shot.

Fire anyone who doesn't like it, have their car towed, then have your security team escort them out of your building.   Then have someone from HR box their shit up, spray paint one of those little army man parachutes metallic gold and throw it at them from your office.  Call down to legal and tell them to handle the rest
