November 9, 20241 yr sooooooo when is it time to acknowledge that Campbell is a bust? Third year in the program and he has been consistently terrible. #1 IOL prospect in the country in his recruiting class. Pretty big stain on Flood's coaching/development record
November 9, 20241 yr Disappointing again, overall. Especially run blocking. Being outperformed by the Florida OL. Good thing out skill guys are better than theirs. Edited November 9, 20241 yr by Pato del Muerto

November 13, 20241 yr Last week seemed better. Only one real total bust where DJ Cambell missed his assignment on the first series (costing us points). Penalties were better. Need to continue to clean it up. I think whether or not we can keep Quinn relatively clean against A&M pressure will likely determine that game.

He said Williams didn't handle the stunt well and it basically put Campbell in a really bad spot. It's really interesting to hear Hills go in-depth on OL play. He corrects a lot of common misconceptions a regular fan might have when watching the OL. Edited November 13, 20241 yr by Hookem2147
November 18, 20241 yr Hayden Conner SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the week. @BurntOrange&White hardest hit

November 24, 20241 yr Is Malik Agbo going to see playing time next year or is he more likely a transfer candidate? I had high hopes for him when he was recruited. What is the knock on him?
November 24, 20241 yr So 4th quarter domination two weeks in a row to ice the game, tell me how A&Ms DL compares to Arky and UK… can we expect a similar performance in the 4th quarter against the yokels in CS?

I think you can throw the trends out the window.

What is the knock on him? He was a S&C project coming in and ended up dropping a bunch of weight to play in the 6 OL package last year. He's not on the two deep this year. Even with Texas replacing 3-5 OL next season I don't see a clear path to starting for him and wouldn't be surprised if he transfers, but if he stays there's at least a path for him to be on the two deep.
December 1, 20241 yr Any word on Banks? Had to watch a lot of the first half on mute so not sure if they said anything on the broadcast. I saw he walked off decently well but then was obviously in street clothes after half.

December 1, 20241 yr Had a lot of guys play great on the offensive side of the ball, especially Wisner, but Goosby coming in and playing like he did was huge. I think the first couple of runs were to the left side. Never skipped a beat with him in.
December 1, 20241 yr I wish we had a gif of the 4q when Majors caught the sky cam on him and just smiled and nodded. Cracked me up for some reason.
December 1, 20241 yr Man, our OL is going to be fucking flithy next year as well. Goosby, Umeozulu, Huston, Campbell, and Baker. OSU 1st game is going to fun, but that OL is going to be monsters over the 2nd half of the season.
December 1, 20241 yr Whatever Kyle Flood is getting paid, it is not enough. After the uga game, this was not the sentiment. They didn’t say anythingJust said it was a lower leg injury and he was in a boot. Looked like he got leg whipped and hurt his ankle on tv.
December 1, 20241 yr Amazing game from the OL. Unreal play from Goosby. He was thrown into a huge game, asked to block a projected 1st round DE, and you never heard the name Nic Scourton.
December 1, 20241 yr If you're doing a three stars hockey style thing Wisner and Broughton are easy stars 1 and 2, but the Big Goose gets the third one. He was put in a really tough spot and he handled it amazingly well. Give Sark credit, I think they tried to protect him by not putting him in bad situations, but he just looked great. I have three plays from the SkyCam that are all in a similar vein. For a guy who is 6'7, 315 he's light on his feet in a good way. He's got really long arms which makes it hard for defenders to get inside on him. The only nitpick is that when they are able to get inside on him he tends to bearhug which will get holding calls down the road, but that's something he can work. There is a LOT of potential here.
December 1, 20241 yr Not long ago, I was thinking about next season and the need to replace most of the OL. It had me a little bit concerned. Goosby's performance against aggy went a long way toward relieving those worries. Hook'em

Michigan's DL is better than aggy's. I'm not really surprised by the result, other than we should've hung 23-31 on them.
December 1, 20241 yr Conner definitely had his best game as a Longhorn yesterday. It is crazy to look back at our decade of disaster with the various OL and now. The development of players is just miles ahead of where we were and a lot of our opponents.
