Yeah the character is so strong that they have to pick and choose how to use her.

Is it MCUicide Squad?

No…I wouldn’t say that.

Hmm. Maybe this is for the best? It all seemed way too rushed.

I like holiday releases better than summer releases anyway, for some reason.

I doubt I'll see every MCU movie and TV show leading up to these two, unlike for everything up to Endgame, but I'm certain I'll go see these.

Helobius?

I’m way late to the party, just watched CA on Disney with my daughter. Holy fucking shit it’s so fucking bad. That’s has to be the worst marvel movie I’ve seen. The acting and story line is brutal and now I’m pissed.

Oh god. That’s my movie for tonight

Felt like a bad tv show.

Pretty sure it was supposed to be a TV show until Disney pivoted to movies again.  That happened with Moana 2.

I think it’s Quantumania for me.  CA is just inert.

The chasm in quality between Cap 4 and Thunderbolts is wider than the Grand Canyon.

I mean who the fuck thought this looked good before filming actual scenes dressed up worse than my kids high school theatre class? Hahaha JFC it’s so bad it’s funny.

It was TV movie of the week quality. Watch it with that mindset and it ain't too bad.

Yeah it's not as bad as Quantimanium or Thor 2 probably...the 2nd Marvels movie with all the Mrs Marvels...oh and Eternals.  There's probably more worse.

Nothing is as bad as Quantimanium. Not even the Dr. Strange Horror movie.

Tf?  Ds2 was good

Yeah, CA:NWO is bad but Marvel has dropped a number of turds the last few years so this I’d say pretty par for the course at this point

Falcon as Captain America just doesn't work. It would have been better as a Winter Soldier action movie.

Yeah, watched it last night and had the exact same reaction.  It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very good either.  Definitely glad I waited for it to hit D+ streaming.

Still better than Thor 2

June 24th. Leaning heavily into the comics

Spoiler

Obadiah Stand’s son it seems

Technology plus magic was right out of Black Panther comics, and she was in Wakanda and this is a follow-up to the last BP movie

Possibly Mephisto

Possibly tying into Doctor Doom

Possibly bringing Wanda in

From CBM: In the comics, Riri is joined by an AI of Tony Stark during her early adventures and later replaces "him" with N.A.T.A.L.I.E., an AI that takes the form of Riri's childhood friend, Natalie Washington, who was killed in a drive-by. There won't be an AI Iron Man in Ironheart, so we're skipping straight to N.A.T.A.L.I.E.

It actually doesn't look bad and she's not really a character I wanted to see more of. I may give it a shot.

Only 6 episodes and maybe tying together some old plot lines or I should say maybe bridging some plot lines.  Kind of suspect a lot of TV shows from here on out are to serve the movies.  Hate that Armor Wars shifted from a series to a movie, just like Moana 2.

Doesn't look horribad at all. I'll give it a shot when it's all done airing.

Also is that motherfucking Young Solo I see?

I've actually liked him in everything he's done since Solo...just had a bad outing there(and I don't think he was all that bad there either...just no one could pull of Solo after Ford, like Stark after RDJ).

I can easily stomach 6 episodes

That article also says that they are going to start running certain commercials in a split screen format simultaneously with trailers. Fuuuck.

One of the few things I would miss when we move out of Austin is Alamo Drafthouse.

No clue where you're moving but Alamo has a pretty big presence outside Austin and Texas.

First 3 episodes of Ironheart dropped

Kind of cool Oceans 11 type of vibes so far. I dig it

I just binged them tonight and really enjoy the show. Characters are well-written (Riri & Natalie are great together), the acting is good, and the story is compelling.

Great music, too. Kinda of a hip-hop spy vibe sound throughout.

I'm still too scarred from She-Hulk to watch television.

Agreed. Really enjoyed it. We will see what the next 3 bring but it’s fun

That was rock bottom. There is only up from there.

No Secret Invasion was rock bottom. She-Hulk at least was trying to be different.

Yep, Secret Invasion was way worse. Way way way worse
