That's a great video....and not just how it ends.

Now we're talking! High end Dallas, CenTex and now Houston talent, and the best dual-threat QB in the state, all in the same boat. 2021 is going to be a monster.

EDIT: Hell of a video, too. Nice work, kid.

Does this mean no Preston Stone?

Probably not.

Milroe interview from the spring. Culture fit to a T, IMO.

What happens to our dumb cliches when the black kid from Houston is the solid-gold character/intangibles guy and the white kid from suburban Dallas is a bit of self-centered dick with diva parents?

Katy is technically suburban Houston.

Yeah, it was a bit of creative license

Kid is going to be a star.

Everything about this young man is perfect for our program and our university.

Also, it will be hard to beat that video.

Just a ridiculously great QB depth chart for the next 5 years or so.

Ehlinger, Thompson, RoJo, Card, JQJ, and now Milroe all on the horizon.

Lol, no way.  It is suburban DC.

Some of those will transfer or change positions of course, but it’s still night and day from recruiting Kai Locksley as QB and hoping for the best.

Not knowing anything about the 2021 guys can someone give us the low down on this gentleman’s game/skills
Thanks

Recently it seems like there’s a growing number of big time recruits from Katy that don’t play for Katy HS. Did they stop recruiting or something?

Big arm, good quicks in the run game, mechanics are a work in progress (though they aren't bad). All in all a great fucking get. Kid is a leader.

Holy SHIT! MONSTER commitment! From all indications, a no-nonsense, hardworking young man who is going to lead this team to great things.

Watch as his star ranking rises over the next two years.

Welcome aboard, Jalen!  HOOK 'EM, baby!

This is a great cap-off to a stupendous week.
Welcome to the 40 Acres Jalen!

That video was classy af! Hook'em [emoji869][emoji243]

Happily since there are two major bluechips in this class (ignore aggy, they took an athlete that isn't actually a quarterback yet), you can just compare and contrast them:

Jalen Milroe: Gilt-edged intangibles/leadership - hyper humble and hard-working; big but unpolished arm; excellent runner; plays against solid competition; Houston/Katy recruits seem to love him

Preston Stone: Super cocky (which is not necessarily a bad thing in a QB); Ultra-polished mechanics; not incredibly athletic, but a slippery runner; weak competition; Helicopter parents might be an issue, especially if he's not starting Year One.
